Sounds like the same setup as mine then. When my friend in the trade bleeds mine he clamps the line that goes from the 1st caliper to the 2nd and bleeds the 1st. Once all air is removed from that one tighten up the bleed nipple on the 1st caliper, remove the clamp and begin work on the 2nd one. The top is completely off the reservoir while this is being done.

If you are not clamping off the other side I would recommend starting there

I'm not going to waste more time than it takes to just take a quick snap of my local mountain. I'm also not mad enough to spend more than £300 on a phone every 3-4 years.

I have too many roads to crack on and ride, and I can see that view with my own eyes whenever I want.

I rely on my phone too much, the Nexus 5 isn't coping anymore and I can see the gap between it and the flagship phones.

Think he has a Nexus 5X, not 100% sure though.
 
New helmet, got it the other week but hadn't got round to playing with it. AGV K5-S. Replaces my trusty HJC IS-17 which I've had for 5 years. Done me well but this is a set up quality wise.

Don't want to scratch it, my old one is battered from being shoved in my topbox :o

Stopped by Asda to fill up, on the way to see the consultant about my back.

After filling up I thought I’d put some air in the tyres... anyway, pulled through the forecourt and two bikers were parked in front of the air compressor / machine chatting away. I said hi but they were clearly too cool to say anything and couldn’t be arsed to move their obviously awesome bikes :rolleyes:

Managed to get the air sorted and rode away when I noticed that they had “blood” high vis vests on, which was a bit weird as neither bikes were marked up with chevrons. Standard white helmet crew, so possibly just unmarked couriers...

Anyway, I made the 100 mile round trip and it turns out I need another MRI (booked for Wednesday next week, yay private medical) so not a totally wasted journey.

Mistake 1.... it was a bit chilly on the ride home to just be wearing a t-shirt under my jacket. In my defence it was perfect on the way up and if I’d wore the inner lining I may have gotten there uncomfortably sweaty.

Mistake 2.... I was making good progress on the way home until I got to some slow moving traffic. Eventually got to the head of the queue and found the issue... police. Nothing wrong, just people afraid to overtake them at anything over 71mph. So, I ended up making the worlds longest overtake on a convoy of police vans down the M4. As I pull along side as the driver of the lead vehicle he looks at me and gestures to me to gun it. For about 4 miles I had a police escort as two vans pulled side by side blocking the 2 lane stretch and a traffic cop in a BMW was trying to stretch my legs.

Weird evening all round.
 
Saw my first Panigale V4 today, on the M1 whilst driving back from Staffordshire in the works van. :cool:

And I haven't ridden either bike for 5 weeks as of tomorrow... :o:eek::p
 
I rebuilt the carb, fitted a new fuel tap and replaced the coil on a Jincheng Monkey bike for my Dad.

Now I just have the sell the thing. Its pretty neat, and has been fiddled with before. It's been upgraded to 72cc with a larger walbro carb and manifold, feels pretty pokey. Did a bit of a wheelspin on the ride around my garden!

I have ordered a larger carb for my own z50 (with 75cc kit already fitted) as a result of riding this thing. Should help increase the speed and pickup of the older honda :)
 
New discs and Ti bolts fitted up front, front calipers stripped cleaned and rebuilt, spark plugs changed, air filter cleaned, chain adjusted now it's bedded in and a couple of other bits done.

Just finished as it started peeing it down. All of the disc bolts came out without an issue, I was fully expecting to need to break out the blowtorch and impact gun.

Needs a coolant change, some new tyres and a very good wash in the next few weeks.

Looking at the market at the moment, prices are high! Was going to put it up at about 550 and see what happens. They are going for much more standard , but this is not yet road registered so I think accepting £500 would be pretty fair.

You have any experience with them?

Not at all but I do love a little monkey bike. I'll have a look at my finances on Tuesday (payday) but I've just booked one hell of an expensive holiday in Rome for our 10th anniversary so the chances are slim.

Sorry, was not my intention to imply an offer to you! I thought you might know a bit about the pricing of them! As you know, no selling is allowed outside of the MM, and as an UB its something I have to stick with :)

Fitted the RHS GIVI engine bar to the Explorer today. Unfortunately I've had an operation and can't move the bike to get to the other side so it will be another 6 weeks until the LHS gets fitted!!!

I was looking to get the exact same helmet, colour included. I want quick release strap though, not double-d.

Is a very nice helmet, and bargain as it's reduced down to £199.99. Matt black and white looks awesome to boot.

I'm used too double-d's so don't mind them, just got to remember helmet first then gloves. Think you'll be limiting yourself with quick release won't you? I don't see them that much.
