Oh no! an e39 with "stick on tat" :p

Performance?

Most things with "M - Power" on the Cam cover, or, "Cosworth" Porsche, Ferrari etc.

As already said though, the driver's ability makes the performance imo.

I have to say....well, I'd class a performance car as something that was designed to go fast, I.e. particular elements of it were focused on performance, handling and so on.

This means that yes, a Mitsubishi Evo is a performance car, as is a 1970s Lotus Elan. One may not actually be as fast as the other, or as good handling, but each was designed to be 'performance' :)

My definition of a performance car is one that excels at every aspect of performance, acceleration, handling and braking.

I think that's called a track car m8 :)

Agreed!
A tarted up corsa is a not a performance car, even if it is 500BHP/tonne :)
