(if you remember red alert nukes, think slightly more devistating)

Well hope to see some of you new players online, and for those poo pooing the game I hope you havn't just played the single player cos the multiplayer/online part is awesome.

The_morrell said:Yeah I was impressed by the nuke power as well, though I found out by killing an AI commander. Nukes are more powerful in this than they were in TAthough I never like the idea of using nukes in a game it can finish a game to quickly
-Tauren- said:the EUF also has an amazing artillery cannon that can reach anywhere across any map. that in combination with nukes is great because you can take out all their anti missile structures![]()

Caustic said:If it is the one I am thinking of, the default build time is 375 minutes! Other experimental units take ~30 minutes. Admittedly, you can have loads of constructors building it to speed things up but it still took me over 20 real minutes to build one. But yes, it is more or less game over if someone builds it without the opposition destroying it fairly quick. It fires a shot every 5 seconds which is pin point accurate, anywhere on any map and destroys any building first time. Even a small area of effect to take out attached buildings.
titaniumx3 said:Of course you need silly amounts of resources to build one. I needed to get my mass production to over 1000 before I could build just three of them to pound the enemy base on a 40km sea map.

Saying that, some of the people from westwood split off and formed the people who programmed Star Wars: Empire at War, which was ok, but not amazing, so they may not be quite as omnipotent as a lot seem to believe. If C&C3 is good though, I will be quite fair, I just dont want to proceed to believe it'll be the best thing ever based on the C&C name.

There isn't a single "uber tactic" in this game, there are LOADS of ways to win, and just as many to counter them.
