What do you think of the 4070Ti?

There's a new type of GDDR6 (Samsung GDDR6W, upto 22gbps) that seems to rival GDDR6X in bandwidth. I wonder if this could find it's way into future GPUs?

Actually, yeah the prices have been updated again and the 4070ti TUF is now reading 899.99 inc VAT instead of 799.99. That means the Surpim X and Strix OC will be 1,099inc.

We saw this same schtick with Tom's Hardware US last gen and they were laughed out of town, so much so their EU editor distanced himself from them.

In short, like other cards, it's good to reduce the power target for a decent drop in power use without a huge hit to fps, and trying to OC the VRAM to overcome the narrow bus didn't give any meaningful gain.

The price is an absolute joke for a fraudulent 70 class card.

£600 would have seen them fly off the shelves and even then they’d be overpriced for what they actually are.
