What film did you watch last night?

I've watched it loads of times but I must be missing something?

Ok, if you've seen it lots of times then you probably know this, in which case I'm not sure it'll impress you, but for what it's worth he is

the photo booth repairman

which I, for one, totally did not see coming.

Fast and Furious 7 - 7/10 Solid action film with plenty of fast cars, girls and explosions but lacking something compared to the two previous films.

Over Saturday, Sunday and Monday I watched all of the Fast and Furious, including going to the cinema to see number 7.

I was really happy with Fast and Furious 7, although my only comments on it now is that they are very much all action now and although there are some cars and fast cars etc, it is not quite what the first three films were, pure racing. After tokyo drift it started to go towards the action side of things and lost the street racing that it always was. I'd have loved a street racing based one again...

Next I think it'll be Usual Suspects, I've always though it's overrated, what does everyone else think?

The Double -exceptionally bleak setting for a slow building comedy drama about a pretty pathetic bloke who meets his exact double but no one else seems to care. Good performance from Jesse Eisenberg and nicely put together by Richard Ayoade. 4/5

I just watched The Tale of Princess Kaguya, and I loved it. Charming, conveying feeling without excessing dialogue and the story would make you want to hug your parents/children! I watched the Japanese language version with English subs, the only way imho.

9/10

The Voices 7/10.

The trailer didn't portray the film well and a few people who see this may be surprised they're watching a film they might not have seen if they had known :D

Gemma Arterton is fit as ever and whilst Anna Kendrick is cute, for me it's the way you may think your kid sister is cute in a non red neck America/Norfolk way.

Hot Tub Time Machine

GF made me watch this due to there being a sequel coming out this yet. I never watched it because it looked crap. I was wrong. Plenty of laughs, and I am looking forward to the second.
7/10
Read a review that said "the tag line for the movie should read - No as bad as you think it will be" :D

Marley and me

I thought I was in for a stinker of a film when I read the synopsis and it said something along the lines of 'Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen are a married couple who get a troublesome dog.' I thought it would be a cheesy comedy chick flick with a crazy pooch doing ridiculous things.... I was wrong.

The film is actually more of a drama to do with growing up through your 20s to 40s and the ups and downs of being married and having kids, buying a house, moving up career ladder. While this is going on it shows their first pet dog grow from a puppy to old and how much of part of a family a dog can be. The last 15 mins or so of the film are very sad and almost had me shedding a tear.

Very surprising and good film 7.5/10
