What film did you watch last night?

Street Kings. Gritty urban drama about the catastrophic breakdown of society in Los Angeles or somewhere. Stars Keanu Reeves looking very unlike Keanu Reeves, Hugh Laurie, and Forest Whittaker's eye.

7.5/10.

How was that likely to bring peace?

Because it would provide the marriage bond the Merkits had wanted in the first place.

American History X.

Watched this with the girlfriend last night because she hadn't seen it before. She found it a bit shocking but agreed that it's a fantastically powerful film and very well acted. Personally I think this film is in my top 20. 9.5/10

Terminator Genisys
7/10. Enjoyable film. The CGI is good. The film could have been a great deal better. But eh this is what popcorn is for.

An excellent film is AHX.

Enemy, utter crap, ohh we wouldnt understand such a high iq film.

I didnt know what i was expecting on sky movies!

I feel really annoyed by the film.
only thing is we were talking about it for a couple of days after.
its carp how did he miss all the zombies from 28 days later. (all of it looks like its shot at 6am in the morning) <<< 6am in the morning i did that

grrr.. if i wanna watch crap like that season 3 of hannibal is on
I don't think you understood it because it's such a high IQ film :p

I was really quite impressed with Coherence, so I watched it again. Noticed so many things! It is such a well made film. I had the feeling I was watching the a play, and I wasn't surprised to find out that the director is a theatre director.

Brilliant film!

The only real quibble I have with it is the blasé way all of the characters seem to just accept what is happening, which is probably down to the way most of it is improvised. Maybe could have done with a bit more direction there.

Frozen Flesh (2008)

1/10

not impressed at all. quite possibly the worst movie of all time. thankfully i was multi-tasking or that would have been a total waste of time :D

American Ultra - Went in with low hopes as the trailer didn't really sell me on it, Was ok but just couldn't imagine Jesse Eisenberg as a top 'asset'. 5 /10

Hitman - Does nothing to even try being like the games apart from the name. Too much CGI on the action scenes that kept pulling me out of it. 3 / 10

Seventh Son

5/10

Cast: Jeff Bridges, Juilanne Moore, Dijimon Hounsou, Kit Harington

Poor film. Really was expecting something special from the cast line up. Not even the popcorn could console me through out this film.

No Escape - pretty tense action movie. Behind enemy lines but with his family. Good acting and effort all round. 8/10

American Ultra - exactly what I expected. The usual unsuspected hero from Jessie. Another good movie to enjoy. Over the top comedy that not taken seriously. 7/10

I think they signed up for the pay day, rather than because they knew it would be a quality film. ;)

Good actors can't save a film with a **** script and poor directing.

EXODUS Gods & Kings

5.3/10

The lackluster character portrayal by the actors added to the coldness of this film. Christian Bale came across constipated and robotic throughout. Sigourney Weaver looked out of place. Ben Kingsley was a wasted talent.

This film could have been more. A lot more. What it actually offered was disappointment. This should have been an epic film for Ridley Scott to rival the 1956 "Charlton Heston" Classic. We know that Scott is more than capable. Gladiator is testament to his abilities.

Bah humbug
