What film did you watch last night?

Inside Llewelyn Davis - 8/10.

Really enjoyed this, Oscar Isaac is one of my favourite 'new' actors of the last few years. The songs were good too, and Carrie Mulligan is always nice :o

Ocean's 13.

Probably the worst of the Ocean's films in my opinion, but watchable nevertheless. Would give it a 6/10.

One thing I noticed was that Don Cheadle's cockney accent was considerably better than it was in the first two Ocean's movies. Not perfect but vastly improved.

Legend 8/10 - pleasantly surprised by this, and thought Tom hardy was decent in this (especially as Ronnie). Wife enjoyed it as well, and said it was a different spin on it compared to the one with Martin Kemp.

Paranormal activity ghost dimension. 4/10

What is it with these movies that the running theme seems to be the occupants of the house wanting to record everything after some weird goings on, then not bothering to check what was recorded 99% of the time.:confused:

Film4 Saturday night:

Day After Tomorrow - Still one of my favourite disaster films. Gives me goosebumps during the build up and the birds all mass migrate. 9/10

Kick Ass 2 - Not as good as the first but still pretty entertaining. Surprised it got really bad reviews. Would like a 3rd to finish it off, but sounds unlikely based on what the Hit Girl actor said. 8/10

Prisoners

Sometimes I wish I was Jake Gyllenhaal... :p

8/10 - was worried the premise was gonna be too simple towards the beginning, but it really did manage to pick itself up again and again. Got real flustered towards the end :D Beautifully shot also, and editing was on point too. Was always looking forward to next dialogue interaction.

I do enjoy a cheesy end of the world film. The length of time the girl is 'drowned' for and recovers from is insanity :p

I do too but this one was poor even by cheesy standards

And a Helicopter Rescue pilot is free to fly around as he sees fit rather than actually rescuing people other than his family.

I was wondering that too
And every time he was doing a rescue I was left shaking my head at the whole scene

The girl though has a fantastic chest! Thats gotta be worth something???

Nope , she didn't strip off and show it so ...

10 Cloverfield Lane

8/10

A solid film, really enjoyed it, several moments that really shocked me, and the sound design worked amazingly well.

Goodman was a real creep.
