8/10. "lol" is apt.

Daybreakers - 5/10

Yet another film in the growing genre more commonly known as "meh"

I've bought a shedload of Blu-rays recently and have only really liked a couple. :(

That film is utter crap.

Finished watching the original Edge of Darkness (the one starting Robert "Iron Knob" Peck). Absolutely superb. A powerful psychological thriller that still looks fantastic today.

:)

Bought the DVD of it about a month ago, loved it.

The Crazies - 6/10

Standard horror movie/government cover-up/infected population fare, done reasonably well.

Just finished watching Zombieland, Heard a few ppl rave about it but i didn't think it was amazing by any means. Dunno what to watch later now tho :S

Watched two films over the last couple of days:

Impact - (was made as a two part TV movie) About the moon on a collision course with the earth. It is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. ridiculous story, script and acting, and the emotional scenes are laughable, I don't know how it got 5.5 out of 10 on IMDB. I'd be generous and give it 2/10

Boy A - About a young man released from prison after serving time for murdering (with a friend) a schoolgirl several years before. Very similar to the Jamie Bulger murder (although apparently not based on it). Some great acting and an emotional story, it's a very good movie and well worth watching. 9/10

Watched Role Models Saturday; quite funny 7/10

Watched Solomon Kane last night; meh weren't bad, weren't great. wouldn't recommend it 6/10

The Bank Job - fancy a trip back to the 70s, well you have it. Entertaining and funny if you give it a chance.

Enron - The Smartest Guys in the Room.

i've seen it before, but the GF and I went to see the Enron play a couple of weeks ago, and she wanted a bit more info on what happened. I really enjoyed the both the play and the film, and was thoroughly impressed by the GF's newfound knowledge of what happened and US financial terminology - "I know what the SEC is! don't patronise me!" hehe

Green Street ... it was utter crap, made the GSE look like pansies, Football Factory was much better (despite almost being ruined by Danny Dyer)
