What film did you watch last night?

The Great Dictator - Charlie Chaplin making a very funny but very well aimed swipe at the Nazis. Absolutely amazing considering he started making it in 1937 and the film was released well before the end of the war. Would recommend to anyone. 5/5.

The Hitman. Chuck Norris 1991 totally awesome with one liners to rival even arnie.

For a fine example form this movie youtube Chuck Norris vs. Racism :D

Hot Tub Time Machine - Loud, overboard and typical American. I don't normally mind watching them but this one was just dire. Odd laugh here and there but i wish i never bothered to be honest.

3/10

Quarantine - was expecting it to be much worse, but after 15 minutes I was hooked! Definately an unusual zombie type film with a number of twists and turns. Would highly recommend this film if you enjoyed watching '28 days later'. Just a shame more of the plot isn't explained. 6.5/10

Finally got round to watching Moon. Thought it was very good. Although I liked the idea behind the story I thought there were gaps in the plot, but this didn't stop me from enjoying it one bit.

Die Another Day, on ITV2+1. Seems like they are doing a Bond marathon atm.
Never actually seen it before, no idea how I missed it as I love James Bond films. Was very good. Great one liners, over the top action and just general silliness. It's what you want from the Bond franchise.

IMDB gives it a pretty scathing 6.0/10, but I agree with you - good simple fun.

Are you kidding? That film is hideously poor. If nothing else, consider the fact that it was the last one they made before rebooting the franchise and trying to get back to the serious Bond of the books.

Goldeneye was the last great Bond film of the "old" franchise.

It's just silly fun, nothing more and nothing less. I accept it isn't a true 'Bond' and wasn't akin to the books but I still enjoyed it. I'm not a film buff in the slightest, I just watch them and some I enjoy and some I don't. (I like Serenity, but didn't enjoy Inception)
