What film did you watch last night?

Beverly Hills Cop
Seen it countless times before and never gets old. One of Eddie Murphys best performances.

The Others
An excellent story, some great acting and a brilliant twist at the end. Had it come out before The Sixth Sense it would've got the recognition it deserved but unfortunately it was overlooked by a lot of people and didn't do nearly as well at the box office despite being the better film imo.

Cracking movie, highly underrated! Kidders does a brilliant job. Totally agree with what you've said here.

The Beach. I liked the premise, but it didn't really deliver.

The book is so much better. The film really disappointed me because usually Danny Boyle is so good.

The problem is, the book is so rich in popular culture, pastiche and intertextuality that it would have been difficult to convey it all, especially as most of it is 'in the mind' of the narrator in the book. The things that really annoyed me about the film were the plot-changes/discrepancies that didn't add any value to the story.

I watched X-Files 'I want to believe' last night - not bad at all. A Typical X-Files story.
My biggest criticism was that there wasn't enough of the theme tune!

X-Files I want to believe felt more like a monster of the week episode, i was hoping for something along the line of what the 1st movie was like.

Started watching Band of Brothers for the first time (
