Just watched Law Abiding Citizen. Not bad for a last minute find on Sky movies.
Infact, the beginning and middle is fantastically gripping. I was loving it!
<spoileritis>
The end, unfortunately, falls victim to the strength of the rest. It's not a bad ending really. It just felt poor in comparison. The movie was built around the premise of real change for a corrupt system. They should have either allowed his conviction to carry out, or made a bigger point of the fact he had totally changed Nick's perspective and that was his worthwhile cause for the deaths. An epilogue of sorts, showing Nick in court, making a stand on a similar trial would have been quite powerful. Something relating back to the strength of what the blonde asked him, whether he would have changed his mind.
