What film did you watch last night?

Just watched Law Abiding Citizen. Not bad for a last minute find on Sky movies.

Infact, the beginning and middle is fantastically gripping. I was loving it!

The end, unfortunately, falls victim to the strength of the rest. It's not a bad ending really. It just felt poor in comparison. The movie was built around the premise of real change for a corrupt system. They should have either allowed his conviction to carry out, or made a bigger point of the fact he had totally changed Nick's perspective and that was his worthwhile cause for the deaths. An epilogue of sorts, showing Nick in court, making a stand on a similar trial would have been quite powerful. Something relating back to the strength of what the blonde asked him, whether he would have changed his mind.

8/10

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, I'm a massive huge giant fan of the books and haven't really enjoyed the films anywhere near as much.

This was alright, annoyed at some parts of the film, really enjoyed some other bits of the film. Second part should be a real rollercoaster.

Watched half of Disney's Beauty and the Beast with my daughter. Amazing film. Wanna see the second half now! Might buy it on DVD this Christmas.

Skyline 5/10

Shockingly bad dialogue and acting in my opinion. Acceptable CGI for the budget used.

All in all, poor.
