What film did you watch last night?

The Duellists - Ridley Scott's first feature film, a wonderful adaptation of the classic Joseph Conrad story 'The Duel'. It has stunning cinematographer and is a timeless film, one of my favorites.

Watched The Shawshank Redemption on Blu-Ray on Saturday - still the finest film I've ever seen!

Then watched Couples Retreat at the flicks.....which brought me back down to earth with a bump! (not terrible but stark contrast between the two!!)

Demolition man on itv last night, gotta say i really enjoyed it again classic 90`s action movie bit of cheese here and there but a fun movie with the setting and time period holding up well for a 16 year old film :) especially the way things are going with all the politically correct nonsense we are enduring these days.

Zombieland (cinema)

Decent action film, highlight is the cameo from Bill Murray.

Kid: "Any regrets?"
Bill: "Garfield"

8/10 for laughs, 6/10 for story.

I sat through Eagle Eye as it's on Sky Movies HD at the moment and missed it when it was showing at the cinema.

It's pretty poor at times, but watchable action films seem to be hard to come by recently.

7/10 from me!

Damage, not bad for a steve austin movie.

Orphan, pretty good but a woman in the work had already told me the twist. still enjoyed it all knowing the end.

The Tournament, It's like Battle Royale but with Robert Carlyle in it :)
