Had a movie marathon last night:

Not overly impressed with this at all, this was my second attempt at watching it and it still didnt really get me laughing.

Not great either, was quite gritty but felt like a typically english production

Cant say i loved it, but i do love Carla Gugino.
Bit of a comedown for Joseph Gordon levitt after Inception i would imagine.

Burke and Hare

Thought this might have a few laughs , but it really disappointed . lots of well known British actors in it too but it was fairly boring overall.

Machete:

Fun, whole load of explosives, boobs and a few funny parts. I love how they tried to make the movie seem really cheesy.

It was a bit over-the-top for making you :rolleyes:

at how he continually makes everything worse, but it did get a few chuckles out of me.

Mean Girls (was on telly)

Some fine totty (Lacey ***!), but as run-of-the-mill as US teen comedies go. Weird how I think Lohan looked best back then, now she's gross.

Repo Men - great feel to the whole film, couple of good twists but not sure how I feel about the ending yet. I loved the way it was set in the future, but didn't feel too futuristic.

7/10 - worth a watch.

The Planet of the Apes. Good film, even after over forty years, 7 / 10. My favourite is the second one in the series, just seen the whole lot for £8.99.

Edward Scissorhands 10/10. Can't believe this film is over 20 years old. The whole idea behind the film is so good and a pleasure to watch.
