What film did you watch last night?

National Treasure 2. Not as good as the first one by any means, it jumps into "Oh wow look another puzzle!" far too quickly, there's no build-up or curiosity first.

Still, Diane Kruger is hot.

Just watched the 2002 movie Spun on the recommendation of a friend. I'd never heard of it before and thought it's got some big names in it, might be good?

A few funny parts but that was about it, seemed like a cheap American imitation of Trainspotting - 5/10

Just saw Hanna - thought it was pretty fantastic. A good 7/10 film.

The only thing I would have liked is for the film to be a 15, rather than a 12A, because some of the fight/action sequences had great potential but felt a little muted due to the film's rating.

Definitely recommend it. Certainly a bit different.

I'm on a weird werewolf moviethon at the moment. Watched Silver Bullet and the Wolfman remake last night. Both fairly meh although Silver Bullet gets bonus points for having Gary Busey in it.

Fight Club

When you think about this film you forget how good the dialogue is and just think about what its about, when you watch it you cant help but constantly think about how clever it is and wonder why you've been putting it off for so long

I'd love to watch it for the first time again :(

Off to see hanna this afternoon, last night/early morning with the matrix on sky.

Whats not to be said, style, substance, cool beans if you love your scfi.

Fast Five 8/10 - Was very impressed, didn't like the previous one but thought this was very well paced and the Rock vs Vin Diesel fight was worth the wait :D

Also

The Hunted - 2003 I think, Benicio Del Toro and Tommy Lee Jones, 7.5/10 the film as a whole has a few flaws but the fight scenes seem very ahead of their time and are very well done, Del Toro plays the delusional part pretty well but I think that might just be his general character anyway lol

Watched Hellboy last night since my old flatmate used to like it quite a bit.

Pretty disapointing to be honest. It seems to follow the very predicable comic book fomula. 6/10.

Hanna.

Found it to be very much a film within a cover. It isn't till about two thirds in does the film start to play out... when they have no choice but to go there, which is good in the context of everything they're trying to achieve.

Odd one, the cover is very nice, they've built the film on some very intresting characters with a very distinctive style, that never relents. Virtualy all the dialogue revolves around the stylistic set of the characters, there's little if any spoken explanation.

You could well like the film if you enjoy the cover, it was middle of the road for me.

Same in the end, but different all the same.
