What film did you watch last night?

Silly film with too many "we screwed you first" moments. Trying to hard to be cool and failing. Still the welsh bird would certainly "get it" as they say.

Its been on the Sky box for ages and it was either that or Star Trek and with the nipper in bed I couldn't use the big boomy speakers.

Star Trek tonight or Gattaca which is on the Sky box but in HD which should be a nice watch.

My wife wants me to watch New Moon with her. I'll only go if she watches the above with me at the cinema. Her heart rate would break records!
 
Letters from Iwo Jima
(actually watched this a couple of nights ago) After seeing Flags of Our Fathers the night prior and being slightly disappointed I was hoping this one would be good. It's definetley above average, but nothing spectacular I don't think. Just another WW2 movie in the end although the story is very well developed. 7.5/10

Twelve Monkeys
Watched this last night because it was mentioned here (I've been doing that a lot recently) and can't believe I haven't seen this film before. A very good watch, considering its from the 90s it seems ahead of its time. A great performance from a younger Brad Pitt too. 7.9/10

Check out Brazil too if you liked Twelve Monkeys, another fine example of Gilliam's work.

I watched Funny People, which was a little better than I expected, but still kinda average and it ran well over 2 hours, which is long enough for a film of this type.
 
Lucky Number Slevin last night on TV, one of my favourite films ever, a mate of mine doesn't see what I'm on about but I love it.

Such an awesome ending to it. Great revenge film.

Anyone else a fan?
 
Just finished watching Terminator Salvation after my BlueRay shipped 3 days early

Great film IMO even though a lot didn't like it :)
 
Tonight I stayed in with some mates and watched "Public Enemies" and "Monsters Vs Aliens" :p

Sadly - I felt I enjoyed Monsters Vs Aliens more :p I just thought that Public Enemies was too slow, not enough action and too much politics :(
 
Doubt – Slightly ponderous, the usual excellent performance but somewhat of a letdown, it fizzled out before the end.
 
Friday night i watched inglorious barstewards thought it was a bit dull, even though there was a few good action sequences.
Last night i watched gamer which was entertaining in a leave your brain at the door kinda way,i felt it was a twist on battle royale,dead or alive,deathrace and the condemmed story lines definately not for kids though :eek:
