What film did you watch last night?

I would really hate to see your DVD collection.
Watched In Bruges as it gets a lot of love here on OcUK, but unfortunately it bored me, it didnt seem to know if it was trying to be funny or trying to be dramatic and thus failed at both (imo, of course)
After that I stuck Coffin Rock in and that was ok, not great and it had a slooow start but got pretty tense in parts.

This, thought it was brilliant.
It actually bugs me that people don't get that film.
It's excellent, a brilliant black comedy.
I enjoyed it. Farrell was brilliant - really hamming it up, very funny. I loved the way the plot rolled inexorably towards the big finish. It was obvious it would happen, but it was executed really well. It reminded me of Tarantino in a way.
Great movie, one of our favourites.
Watched Where the wild things are with my son last night.
it was perfectly fine and ok, the effects/puppets were very good indeed although the little lad who played max did start to grate on me by the end of it.

I thought it was decent. It certainly looked very nice.
Don't get why it's cool to say it's awful, but it certainly wasn't excellent.

I said I didn't like it and it bored me, not I didn't get it. I'm not of subnormal intelligence, I just didn't like this particular black comedy.
As always, it was in my opinion. I'm sorry that my opinion isn't the same as yours but I'm still entitled to it and it's just as right as yours
btw it doesn't bug me that people like it, not everyone likes the stuff I like, but I don't shove it down their throats explaining how awesome it is and how they really really should get it.
Anything by the coens brothers seems like good dark comedy. In particular Fargo.
