What film did you watch last night?

Just watched Inglorious B's myself, very enjoyable, 9/10.

I'd agree with that. A really good film.

I'm not sure if it was because most of the dialogue was in French/German but there were scenes that didn't feel like a Tarantino film.

It was extremely well put together, some amazingly tense set-pieces in it and there were a few classic Tarantino moments. I just feel that I couldn't place the whole film as one of his...

The Midnight Meat Train - (not a porn film like it sounds...) Was quite good, shame the main guy was someone quite famous though, just didn't seem right. Slightly boring ending, but overall I give it a 7/10.

I heard good things about that. I'm surprised the quite famous guy (if it is who I think it is) has had so much work. He's not that good.

In the Valley of Elah – An excellent film looking at look at how war affects people, more than just crime mystery with a magnificent performance from Tommy Lee Jones.

I watched Moon last night.

I loved the set for the moon base, very 2001: A Space Odyssey / Alien / Star Wars IV and I thought Kevin Spacey as the robot was a stroke of genius.

However, I saw through the plot pretty quickly and it ultimately became predictable. I did like some of the editing though. There's a scene where the guy is freaking out, running around the base and all of the cuts reminded me of the section of 'Eternal Sunshine' where Carrey and Winslet are rushing through Carrey's old memories.

I'd give it 7/10
