What film did you watch last night?

Good god what an utter pile of crap, at one point the movie turned into the original home alone with booby traps being set for the killers. Just all in all really bad.

I.T (2016) Pierce Brosnan plays the head of a company, employs a wacko I.T guy that after getting fired; terrorises Brosnan's character and family. A bit Meh 6.5/10.

Agree with this, trailer made it look ace. Went to the flicks to see this and thought it was crap.

Ghostbusters 7/10 for me.

I really really enjoyed it, a great laugh, got lots of chuckles from me, it's nice that it does it's own thing but also gives a few nice nods to the original films with the cameos.

Hope we get a sequel.

Yeah just about everything about it was half baked, it had a decent premise but the acting was woeful, then you had random Ozzie girl running about setting up Macaulay Culkin style traps because she was with her old man in a survivalist camp. Only took about 15 minutes or so for the crap factor to rear its powerful stench.

Ghostbusters 7/10 for me.

About as much chance of a sequel of that **** as there is of the Pope endorsing rubbers and starring in an ad for them showing how to put them on. It needed around 450 million or thereabouts to ensure the prospects of a sequel, it brought in around $220, thankfully that seems to spell the demise of it.

The Blood Father - Mel Gibson film. Very good, a solid 9/10, despite being old, Gibson is still a rather formidable angry old git. Wouldn't want to spill his pint. Worth a watch.

I feared performance of the first would kill any hope of another.

I just don't get the hate for it.

Its just crap, its unfunny, any male in the movie is basically portrayed as an ass or a retard, the only reason it had an all female cast in the first place was the director thinks men are incapable of being funny and has a stiffy for directing all female casts for some reason.

The movie was essentially a retread of the first, constant nods to the original despite them going out of their way to say it is totally separate from it. Literally the only thing i found amusing was the guy in the tech college flipping them off in numerous ways.

They've even renamed it as "Ghostbusters: answer the call" after the fact, presumably because Sony seen how badly it tanked and didn't want it confused with the original.

Swiss Army man

Strange tale of a guy stranded on an island(not for long with use of his trusty dead body), few funny bits in a rather bizarre little film.

6/10

Swiss army man. I thought it was entertaining, quite an interesting take on depression/suicidal tendencies but as above an utterly bizarre movie. 6.5/10 from me. However the Mrs said it was the worst film she has ever seen

The Magnificent Seven - Great cast and pretty enjoyable movie. I personally like the diversity so didn't know what the fuss was about. Denzil was solid as always. Same director as the new Equaliser movie. 9/10

I saw the magnificent seven on Saturday as well, rated it quite well, although it's quite a long film.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople - 8/10

Really enjoyable film, typical NZ humour and I agree with the poster above, a little gem of a film

Great soundtrack too, just listening to it on Spotify

Duel 9/10

Seen it years ago, but it's just one of those easy to watch, really entertaining and gripping movies you can't help but watch a few times. The whole movie is free on youtube.

Event Horizon
Been many years since I've watched it, thus time in 1080p.

One of those sci-fi movies that's easily capable of matching up to modern sci-fi.

Justiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!
8/10

Ghostbusters
I can see why it got slated all over the user reviews online. Forced jokes and little homages to the original, sadly only the original cast can pull off the gags properly.
5/10
