What have you done to your car today?

Ahh dear, this just gets better and better.

I thought it would just need a rear Foglight and front side lights for the MOT (these TSI's are indicator only) but now I need to get new wheels soon. :p

Or I could fit my E30 bottle caps for the MOT... :D

Who originally thought "Hm... I wonder if I can put thinner tires on my wider wheels that aren't designed for them, then I'll add huge negative camber so it's a death trap on anything but perfectly dry conditions"

My fronts are 195 on an 8J and they look fine! :(

Rears are 195 on a 9J and they do look pretty stupid...

Wtf I run 235 Ad08r on 8j and that is a spot on tyre size. By comparison the Suzuki is 185 on a 5J!

The whole point of a wider rim is so you can run a higher width. You are just carrying excess unsprung weight otherwise.

They weren't my choice. Though at the height it is at, and with the offset and width of the wheels, you couldn't run wider tyres without arch rolling anyway. I'm currently looking for some 7J's or 8J's with a different ET so that I dont have to have stretched tyres or the silly wide arches on the back.

Replaced the front bumper lights and grills for new ones, looks much cleaner now, also dropped the old engine oil and replaced all the filters. Received the DSG fill adaptor today so i will be changing the transmission fluid tomorrow.

when changing the bumper i noticed a split axle boot and have started to hear a knock that presents itself when braking and accelerating for the first instance. I hate looking too closely, you always notice something!

Almost forgot, i will also be removing cleaning and changing all the gaskets on the EGR as that seems to have a oil leak too gah!!!!

Got round to routing a type-c cable to fast charge the phone from the glovebox. Took a bit of chin scratching to decide how to get the cable into the centre console area. Ended up feeding it through one of the holes where the cupholder springy thing holds a cup in place. Seems fine, no more need to plug in a charger into the lighter socket, no more dangling cables

Theres a spec of dust on the passenger side lower right seat bolster! ;)

Nice and tidy. Even the tiny details of your car are impeccably well looked after. :)

I'm driving it most of this week, and there's rain forecast all week. It will not remain tidy.

Finished replacing the vanos seals, did spark plugs and oil while I was at it.

Also fitted my retrimmed steering wheel and new mats

I am equally happy and exhausted this evening!
