What have you done to your car today?

Ahh. Um... Spray it with black plastidip and peel it off of the letters?

Also - Coming to an arrangement to get shot of this Eunos... Getting a different Eunos + cash for it, from someone who has an engine in their garage and wants it for all the bits that are on it...

My record for car ownership is 5 weeks with that Celica. I've had this 7 weeks so far. :p
Seriously, you need to get over this whole swapping thing. Swapping cars is almost never a good idea, you are just cycling from lemon to lemon. Has experience genuinely taught you nothing?

As if you needed to ask.

You'd have thought the Celica debacle would have put him off, but yet the MX5 exists ;)

Yesterday was on M54 doing a good 70 and was getting slight steering wheel wobble - On way home did slight detour to Morrisons for 5p off a liter of diesel - Curbed off side front on pump concrete surround -- My french surprised me all way home -

This morning went to tyre place and asked if they could check balance on two front's - He put first on machine and spun it - I said what's that - Wheel is buckled Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! -- Now I have hit a few pot holes but not that bad - wondering now if previous owner had done it as it had a different make of tyre on front near side (2500 miles on clock) and when I refurbished the wheel it was scuffed on edge of rim as though it had been driven with tyre flat.

I think this car has been jinxed since I have had it.

In case anyone is interested in the story behind the engine mount fail, it's a MK2 Focus ST with Collins 320 map etc. I did it at Santa Pod. It seemed like an especially grippy surface, and the more I pushed the more grip I got throughout the day. So on my last run I though sod it i'll give it the full beans, and got severe wheel hop, before I could back off the mount snapped. Oops.

Upgraded replacements are on order though, and it should be better after as i'm using the stronger e-focus mounts etc.

LVE can go shove themselves up the bum x

twas my rs6, company car, the z4 is my gay wagon
Sod the P11D on that! I looked at getting something remotely interesting and gave up.

Btw @mrk you shouldn't need to use Tripple on the parts of the car that are ceramic coated, Tripple contains diminishing abrasives that will not only lessen the effect of the ceramic coating but also mask it's hydrophobic abilities. I can see you wish to use Tripple if you wish to kill time however :) I prefer SRP myself, it's my go to, but I have loads of it still have some of it from my Secret Santa from two years ago :D

SRP lasts weeks, Tipple in my experience at least last several months! SRP I gave up on a long time ago. It's fine for a car that's not driven much, and lives in a garage, but Collinite 476/918 combined with Tripple provides a full year minimum of hydrophobic protection.

I did the whole car anyway as the ceramic protection is a bit all over the place at the moment where sections meet a panel that doesn't have it on, so just applied it to the whole car.

I'll get the car re-polished and ceramic coated maybe next year. For now, this combo works well!

Hence why I use Tripple, it is an all in one. Can then apply wax/seal on top if I want, but no issue if I don't, as it still lasts several months on its own.

Now she's up on stands because the wheels are off being banded 1.5" each side at the rear, and all being powdercoated off white

Got pulled over again cos I accelerated hard past an unmarked car on a straight empty road. (NSL A road and he was turning off in a slip road) Got accused of speeding when I wasn't and got accused of racing the car behind when I wasn't and didn't even know they were trying to keep up, and got accused of showing off when I wasn't, and got accused of having a "fatboy exhaust" when it's stock. Guy was basically a massive **** from start to finish and then gave me an un needed lecture and sent me on my way.

He checked round the car for ages and checked the tyres and everything, sat in his car with my licence for ages and wasted loads of time, asked the passengers if they felt safe with me driving and they all said yes... :p

You're obviously doing something to attract the rozzers. I've never been pulled in 30 years of driving (apart from a random breath test one Christmas)

I would have fogged up the passenger side glass and written "send help" backwards just for giggles.

I turned out of a side turning and hoofed it up a straight road in first and second then slipped it into 5th.
