Can't you just put a small rubber bung in the hole? No one would ever know, except you!Drilled a hole in the column cover in the truck to mount a switch so I can view the rear view camera at any time.. and drilled it too high so it's directly into a metal bar... new cover is $100.... siiiiiigh
Find the specs of the springs and see if any other small cars use the same size.![]()
Two new front tyres (MPSS) and an alignment correction on the M135i. Also passed 59,000 miles in it the other day. Thankfully I've still got a year of the original warranty left on it so will probably sell it at the start of 2018 before I'm out of warranty.
How was the reliability on it over the time ?
aCar in front drive over a piece of either metal or particilarly chunky plastic which then deflected off my windscreen leaving many nice scratches / scuffs.
Thinking slightly positively it would have made an incredible mess if it had bounced off a couple of panels but obviously scratched glass isn't ideal.
It isn't terrible and is out of direct line of sight so I'm considering trying to polish the area and see how it comes up before getting it replaced. Anyone ever tried some abrasive glass compound to remove/round off windscreen scratches?
I've noticed a strange problem with my clutch today. Seems to work fine, but under any load the pedal feels quite rough when engaged. It's perfectly smooth when the engine is at idle though. Any ideas?![]()
Sanding, filling, sanding, filling, sanding filling. What seems like an eternity of sanding and filling to get what can be no more than a 0.5mm fine skim over some blemishes on the roof of the 205.
Evercoat Rage Gold is an excellent filler.
