As said that's the handbrake. It has a tendency to be a bit noisy first thing, can make a bit of wahwahwah noise but soon goes when cars done a mile or so.

Good idea tbh. Some cars have drum handbrakes and disk brakes, why not have them independant but both on disk.

Drum is way better for handbrake, that's why that setup is commonly used. Common cars don't use 2 piece discs though, or large 4 pot calipers on the back.

You can see it has a black rubber block already under the wheel. I imagine for the same reason he couldn't get the jack under, he couldn't get a bigger block under the tyre.

Cheeky popos* hiding under a tree with a speed gun.. i usually turn my cruise on when I'm in a 30 zone and without traffic ahead.. did the same this time and just continued as usual only to see them cheeky sods pointing a gun at me

checked my Speedo and I was at like 31-32mph. They didn't stop me so we'll see what their threshold is.. hopefully no ticket for 2mph over in two weeks
