What have you done to your car today?

Thinks there’s a couple over Reading way but they’ll likely charge similar to Mercedes I’m guessing.

Nah, decided it made more sense to just put the cost of the warranty aside in case of any problems.

I’ll ask about having all 4 replaced with the newer parts if it is the magnets, might as well since I plan to keep it for 4+ years.

Good stuff, you'll have to let me have a nosey somewhen (please <3) because I was considering those as a daily option a while back... Curious...

Apparently the auto box is really slow to respond to the flappy paddles, rendering them ornamental only though?

I've always wanted one, well an isf originally but couldn't justify that for a daily driver.

You're free to have a look around at the next meet.

Honestly I have not tried it yet, I'm still exploring it lol. There's quite a decent amount of kit for a 2008 car. I'll try it tomorrow and see how it is.

It is yeah, auto with mark levison sound system, heated/cooled leather, sat nav, rear blind etc.. think it's pretty much fully loaded.

Loads of car for 4.4k that I paid for it.

I’m actually after one of these as a daily!

That’s a good price. What’s the mileage if you don’t mind me asking?

Also looking at these for my first car commuting to uni but the lack of bluetooth streaming on pre-10/11(?) cars is putting me off a little for my budget at ~£5k

It's a higher mileage than average at 107k but most of them have been used for motorway driving so I wasn't too fussed. Went for condition, spec and service history :) only a 2 owner car.

That is a bit crap yes but they do have an aux in port in the armrest which allows you to plug a Bluetooth receiver in and it works just as well :) steering wheel buttons fail to change the track is the only con.

There are some after market solutions for this that are basically plug and play. I might invest in one in the future.

Definitely. Only issue is that not many appear on autotrader these days, so it’s a bit of a waiting game for a good one to pop up
