What have you done to your car today?

Moved my pug to a parking space outside my house ready go to my gig tonight and just been told it's cancelled. Damn weaklings who can't handle a bit of snow. :/

Had my e46 MOT'd, ordered some Lemforder track rod assemblies, got stuck in the snow on the way home. Abandoned it :p

Congrats Simon! Looking forward to seeing it at a meet soon hopefully! I miss mine :(

Have you found a replacement yet? Still set on an S-Type R?

Nice one @Marvin enjoy it, good colour too!

I finally managed to not buy a silver BMW (three so far...).

@Marvin

We get to see you get in and out of it now :D, have you mastered the art?

Alternatively, I suppose we could bring you food to eat in eat?

Thanks guys, loving it so far. Getting in/out is not the most graceful of affairs - requiring one hand on the tarmac - but it's perfectly doable, and it's comfortable inside once I'm in :).

Just been down to Maidstone Sports Cars this morning to get a quote for full service inc cambelt done so I know it's perfect before spring/summer starts proper. Fancy doing some track days this year so want it tip-top. Also asked how much a full front end and door respray might be, so I can decide whether to live with the blemishes or not...

Just need handbrake in black or something to replace the orange ***** :P

Since it's going for it's engine rebuild on friday I emptied all the stuff out of it as I've been using the Mini as a shed for the last 6 months haha.

Changed the wiper arms on the A4 out for B7 aero ones. Much better. I can now use my preferred wiper blades rather than the extremely poor choices available with the standard B6 arms.

This evening I shall be attempting to retrofit some bluetooth adaptor to the OEM stereo.

Took the Rolla for a 120 mile round trip to Southampton and back. Swapped my E30 exhaust for another one. Managed 38MPG on the journey over and half of the return journey, then had a little bit of a razz which reminded me just how good the engine is! Put a big smile on my face. :)

Theres something about joining an empty dual carriageway from a roundabout, giving it the beans up through the gears, slowing for the next roundabout, exiting back onto the dual carriageway, and giving it the beans again, rinse and repeat...

Bob Dunn way in Dartford just off the M25 is perfect for this, used to by my go-to test area when I bought a new car.
