What have you done to your car today?

Changed a damaged ball joint and suspension arm on the astra, tried getting the alternator off as it was leaking but with no ramps couldn't get in a position to get it off so took it to a garage who whipped it off in 20 mins.

The alternator was... Leaking?

Doh :o pics?

I did it good.

Hadn't had any incidents for the last 90k miles of driving so I guess I thought it was time to burn some money fixing a moronic mistake.

Doh! I did something similar parking against a pillar, although I actually saw it happen, i knew it was tight but I thought I got away with it, must have just kissed it.

Mine isn't as bad so I didn't get it fixed, my mindset being that the car probably needs a full respray due to some presents that other people left

Almost two years later and I have a Bezel/Fascia for the OLED data readout in the MX5 clocks. Will print a better quality one and apply some finishing to it at some point but for now I've gone from this

Thanks, another print with a better surface finish then a couple of coats of either black plastidip or truck bed liner and it should pretty much OEM

Good job.

What springs did you use? Looks a little lower at the front than the back?
Thanks :) 35mm H&R both front and back must be the weight which fetched the front down a little more. Having said that i would say the backs had more to drop from standard too.

See I think it looks too low. Especially the front. I know, I'm never happy. :p

Recon 15/20mm springs would have suited.

As my car is now officially old and crap I had to pay to renew my RTTI subscription as the free one expired :( So, yea, thats what I've done to my car today.
