Mate passed his test already?
He seemed really enthusiastic about it, right up until I tried to find out when he wants to actually get in the drivers seat and start learning. So I've given up.
TBH I don't really want to get rid because it is good fun! But meh, extra few hundred squid towards the new stupid toy.
Got my active exhaust, found I have a plug in the rear to use it, I enabled all the settings in the digital dash.... I don't have the relay in the fuse box.. and it has no terminals in the slot. Need to figure out how to make it work but it won't be fun.

Won my ombudsman case with Ford.
Took it to a Ford bodyshop who gave me two options.
Strip entire Ranger send chassis for treatment 3 months work
Ramp dry strip wheels plastics shot blast welds etch primer and stone chip paint then wax oil all chassis rails and anything else they can't get to with the paint gun 1 week work
Option 2 I think, the last thing I want is Ford stripping and reassembling the whole thing and losing it for 3 months
The body shop said it was the sixth ranger they've done and double that amount of Mustangs rusting

If it's that bad, I'd go for option 1. Option 2 is what you do on auld cars like mine

I guess these "American Imports" are not built to the same European standards on the underside. A bit like Jap imports from the 90's.
I've already mentioned that dodgy looking weld on your exhaust! Keep you eyes peeled!
@Maccapacca that's pretty bad indeed. Very poor coating application.

Wow, that’s pretty bad. I assume by mentioning the ombudsman that Ford didn’t think this was an issue?!

It is yes but it's not a US poorly made vehicle shipped around it's a South African poorly made vehicle shipped around
the original comment was that is was a US vehicle originally Ford refused to repair it saying it was normal and if I didn't agree to take it to the ombudsman which I did and won
