I ordered the glass that @russell664 linked. Screw it. I've done harder jobs on cars.
My 14+ year old car passed/went through it's MOT and service with no advisories and nothing to report.
Was very happy.

Loved the floating discs on my old 55. Less expensive than they used to be, think I paid £500 a corner back in the day.
Is there significantly more labour time in that, versus windscreens ?if you have windscreen cover then its a no fault claim and apart from the windscreen excess it doesnt effect future premiums , used to do it for a living ,
My M135i went back to BMW yesterday for them to fix the rear bumper scratches they tried to cover up when they sold it to me. I had concerns from the advert photos which I was assured would be resolved before I bought it. Looked fine when I collected it. It’s now been properly cleaned and sure enough those scratches that I was concerned about are indeed still there…
So yeah, we’ll see how this plays out.
They probably used that coloured t-cut stuff that's come off in a wash...
Been using it! The most impressive thing is the speed you can carry through the corners. The grip from the Avon ZZS (when it's hot and dry) is incredible. Amazing piece of kit, and mine's only the lowly 270. The 420/620 Caterhams must be absolutely ******* ballistic!

Sounds about right. I've got the 136 Sigma. I suppose I could upgrade to the 150bhp in a few year's time but honestly, much more power like a 360 or 420 would be overkill. I agree that on track, it's a whole other story, but on back roads and zipping around, it's great. Chuffed to bitsTo be fair my mates Superlight on the ZZS (150bhp Sigma) is impressive on the back roads. Another has the 620r and says the Superlight was the best one he owned as you can actually use the power! On track, 620r every time.

Unfortunately I live in a very densely populated area, so in order to go out into the sticks away from towns and cities, it's a bit of a trek, but for a quick blat when the traffic's thin, it's good to clear the head from the stresses of everyday life![]()
