What have you done to your car today?

I so need a vehicle lift :( was in at the dealers today and got to have a vehicle up on their lift and walk through work which needed doing with the master tech which was really useful - so much stuff I could do myself but not really feasible, or safe - at least by my standards, with the vehicle jacked up or on ramps.

Not really stuff I've done but we are having so many incidents with the work vans :( mostly as a consequence of having them out during the recent storm with one written off due to 11 grand worth of work needing to be done due to water ingress.

Rent-a-ramps near you?
Example: https://www.carramphire.co.uk/

It went into the garage:
* MOT
* Minor Service
* Replacement front bushings
* Replacement brake fluid
* 4xCC2 tires

I'm living off beans on toast for the rest of the month :D

Low tyre warning light came on. Cars been a bit twitchy. It’s usually the same tyre, so last time I didn’t check them all. Checked them all tonight and the one opposite was reading about 8 psi. It’s not that obvious when you look at low profiles, although it did look a bit down! Can’t see anything in it though. So will just monitor for now.

Gauges innit.

Not wired up yet, but brackets and doodads done.

MOT, service with brake fluid, and 2 days to fault find and resolve niggles.
1. rattle from rear - missing undertray bolt that allowed it to rattle when suspension on any other setting than comfort
2. gearbox sometimes jerky changing gear, couldn't find fault but did full software reflash and adaptation (6 hours). seems smoother but needs to relearn as very quick to change up now.
3. squeak from switchable exhaust, couldn't find issue but only does it in summer so will have to get that looked at later.
grand total of £73 :D

So I think I've had my monies worth of the warranty and service plan this year, considering it had 2 new front adaptive dampers and main battery in August.

My car came with piano black trim from the factory. The carbon trim is much nicer, albeit very expensive. Found used but excellent condition bits on Facebook, only a few more to finish it off. Very happy, carbon is much nicer and adds a finishing touch to the interior. Just need the DCT and handbrake trim now.

I've looked at stuff like that before but anything around here is either booked out already to the end of time or extremely expensive.
the two poster i have in the garage was from when i closed my business it was on lease purchase and basically cost a pittance for the use it had ,best of all after 3 years it was mine:)
if i had to buy one now there are numerous deals going and different designs , i wish mine had been single phase but it wasnt so had to use a convertor but still gets a vehicle up high enough to walk under.
