What have you done to your car today?

Nice one! Installing Newman cams on my car soon with a live JamSport map and hoping to see at least 185bhp :) Had a passenger ride in a track prepped Fiesta ST with 196bhp, stripped out with 2 bucket seats/harness', full polybush setup, quaife diff, cams/inlet etc and it was an absolute animal, just reminded me that I need to pull my finger out with my car :D

Not all the way round yet, I love the kick it gives at 5000 tho. Get some funny looks off people when you drive past and it starts popping :-D

Haha I love mine, I have a full decat Milltek system on mine with mystery map and it sounds ridiculous on the overrun, always makes people jump around town :D Hope you're enjoying the 185...

Went a saw a fella who has £10k ish of Bosch diagnostics hardware so we could have a word with the M3.

Symptoms are running pig rich. Intermittently looses shove at the low end then can be fine a minute later etc

I suspected lambdas and cam position stuff. Turns out two dead lambda both dead for different reasons. The wiring doesn't look good which will be due to when the engine was swapped. Otherwise all other measuring blocks were presenting plausible figures so everything else seems pretty good

New lambdas coming this weekend

Got the car fully aligned,

Went with

Front:
Camber 1.48
Toe - stock
Caster - stock

Rear
Camber 1.25
Toe - stock
Caster - stock

Car feels fantastic.

Also bought 2 ps3's for the front, in hindsight i should have put them on before the alignment but nevermind :p

Had the Timing/Fan belt and water pump changed. Glad I did as the old pump split when it got took off!

Replaced the track rod arms and tracking done.

Car decided to throw one of the fanbelts last night when I started it, clean break on a belt that looked in good condition. Checked for play in any of the pulleys, but everything looks good, so I got 2 new belts and fitted them tonight before I came home from work, easy job. 176k miles now and so far in 18 months ownership its cost me £45 in parts (excluding service) Is it wrong that I enjoy when something goes wrong so I can fix it?

Tried to get the throttle body off to clean it. But the electrical connector which I'm guessing is for the MAF Sensor is being a pain in the arse, and is refusing to come off.

Round two tomorrow....

Been fiddling about trying to get new chain tensioner in. A lot stiffer than the worn one gave up a few hours ago, I'll try in daylight from underneath. Not a lot of room from above. Only having a 27mm socket isn't helping.

Grrrrr.

Got ARB bushes and old droplink replaced though.

The EGR to Intercooler hose on my Mk3 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi has split (common fault) so I've repaired it with duct tape for the time being and will have to replace it when I get a chance.
