What have you done to your car today?

Just strip them yourself, soak the studs for a few days in penetrating fluid first - but otherwise it should come away pretty easily and access is great as it sits at the back

Wear a mask though, the honeycomb stuff totally disintegrates and goes everywhere

Finally got some time to tidy up the 330ci (parts from ebay):

Next - wrap interior trim, touch up paint/wet sand/polish/wax.

Mrs leaves her car at her mums and walks to school to pick the little one up, sometimes leaving her car keys in the house. Her mum noticed Sarah had left her handbag on the front seat so decided to try open the car to take the bag out and having no clue in world at all about anything (literally anything (and i mean anything)), couldn't get the car door to open but noticed the boot had opened (only pressed the boot release button obviously). So she has opened it up and closed it. Decided to leave Sarahs car keys in the boot.

Keys are now locked in the boot. Spare keys are in the mrs's bag which is on the front seat in the car.

Honestly cannot get my ****in breath at times with some people. Had to come out of a job early to **** about getting the mrs to work on time... wasn't in the greatest of moods as it is.

The bag story will be a load of tosh, her mum is just special and would have decided to mess about with the key fob. There was no need at all to worry about the bag being on the seat.

Rang a locksmith, not even asked for a price. Just told him no rush and to go to her mothers tomorrow and she will pay the bill.

Edit: Sorry, but i needed somewhere to rant...

ha ha yes arch gap is a bit big, but it does sit a little lower than this now. These photos were taken immediately after wheel fitting, and had just been lowered off the jack. But yeah its still pretty big. Handles and stick to the road like **** to blanket so dont care :P

Got around to building my AP Racing front discs, just need to clean my finger prints off and buy a smaller Tq wrench to finish them off as mines rated a bit too high (min 20NM, needs 6.5NM) - pint glass for scale, sorry about the potato pic.

Ruined a car dealers day by outpacing an R8 on a test drive off the lights, I can only assume it wasn't the V10.

The R8 V8 isn't that quick really. I followed one down the E80 in Italy and although he was pulling away from me, he wasn't disappearing into the distance like a supercar would. I'd imagine an M3 or similar could quite easily keep up with one.

It's defiantly not that quick. My super charged FN2 was quicker but the V10 on the other hand :D

boost issue is now fixed :)
It was an intercooler pipe, strange because where it was I checked it but must have come loose more as I drove it to my friends house to diagnose, either that or he just pointed out the obvious.

Car pulls like a train now, seems to pull far better than before. I only just deleted the BOV, and that didnt show any signs of leaking. Anyway I can concentrate now on cleaning the car up and sorting my wheels out. :)

Finally got my OTR side panels installed and all chrome carbon Engine Tops. I've also fitted Black Front Fender Vents. Next up.... 4 into 1 Headers/ Extractors with High Flow Cats to go with my 3" XForce Cat-Back Exhaust.

Fitted 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, then did a completely accidental 5mph drift as I pulled away from the garage when the silicone coating on the tyres and the rain mixed to create a lovely ice-rink effect for the first 50 yards!

The mrs and I got a cheap second car recently, a 2009 Pug 207 CC, got it cheap because the roof wasnt wasnt working properly - its actually very fun to drive, it's got the 1.6THP engine and goes quite well.

I've since fixed the roof, washed it, changed all filters, plugs and tided it up a bit - its now a really nice little car!

Next on the list is to change the discs and pads all round and paint the callipers silver.

After I finished building them I swapped my fronts discs to AP Racing and pads to Ferodo DS2500's -

I was going to do my brakes and oil change today.......Bent my tyre iron so went and grabbed another from halfords.
Took the wheel off to find I didn't have the correct size hex and torx bits for the calipers so on goes the wheel again and I go back to halfords to get them.
Get back home and then I strip the flipping locking nut and key so I've given up, Bought the locking nuts already but just after a removal tool now to get them off :(
