Are they 'Full Run' tyres fitted to what looks like a V8 performance car? :p
 
Hung ribbons and bows on the Project Bentley - she's earning her keep today with a wedding. Will sort some photos later.

If you look in the background of the picture, you can see the old knob plate thing, and the remnants of the ruined leather. So I assume he bought a new bit of leather and a new knob cap thing. :p
 
Sealed the freshly powder coated wheels with poorboys sealant :)

That moment when you notice what appears to be scuff marks on your bumper and almost flip your lid but then get up closer and it's just marks on the layer of dust :rolleyes: :o

Hmm wonder how long the leather will last! Looks a bit loose fitting?
 
What did you get? I had an 0805 that was pretty good, but developed a funny whine while recording. Got a refund so got the newer 0806 and half it's features simply don't work!
 
Ah, lol. Will be interested to see what you think then.

Mine's probably going back. Motion sensors aren't good (Medium and it recorded nothing, high and I couldn't stop it recording). Parking Guard isn't actually available. Double MicroSD card slots, but I'm told only one works.
 
Key'd my boot closing it then got some G3 to it in hope to make it look a bit better and ended up takin the surrounding lacqure off. Is there anything I can do besides having the boot repainted?

I took the entire exhaust off, manifold back.

Covered every join in red high temp silicone, refitted and now it doesnt blow and sounds purdy.
Actually Pops a little now when it didnt before due to all the blows.

Tomorrow my tyres are being fitted to my new rims and hopefully I get them on the car this weekend :) Also plan to put my nur spec r on too :)
 
Bizarrely, although the GT86/BRZ came equipped with power folding door mirrors, they were not automatically controlled by by the door locks, meaning you'd have to fold them in manually if needed before shutting down.

Subaru sell a genuine plug and play module (but only in Japan - again, bit bizarre) to add this function. Ordered the part a couple of weeks ago and it arrived today, and I installed it tonight. Just a simple box of tricks that gets plugged into the door lock/mirror controls inside the drivers door.

Bit of a ballache of a job getting the wiring tucked away neatly enough so the doorcard would go back on neatly, but the mirrors now fold themselves away when locking the car, and unfold again on ignition. Might sound like a lot of work for little gain, but not only do I like to have the mirrors folded away when parking, but I'm also constantly paranoid about the keyless entry system - so this change means I can see the car is definitely locked with a quick glance back :)
