comming onto a duel carridge way was ina 50 limit, with 2 speed cameras comming up half a mile apart, this m3 was dodging past traffic, seams as i was only a few cars beind i followed untill i got behind him.

we had a clear road ahead, and we went past the last camera, another little bit and signs apear for national limit, anyway i thought he was going to boot it after the camera but no, he slowly creaped untill about 70mph, then he went for it.

i was in third, and was about 2 car lengths behind, by the end of third i had to lift of as i hesitated if i should go past, i diddnt and into 4th we went, and again i pulled right onto his bumper, so lifted off, then thought balls to it, left foot to floor, as i went into 5th i pulled out and overtook him am .30mph he was still trying as the clocks went to a little more, but i then eased of at the sight of old bill up ahead lol.

he diddnt flash or anything, infact i think he was quite anoyed lol, i thought it was funny,

To be honest it made me realise how quick the car is again, as somehow i thought is had got slow. lol

How are people this deluded? He reckoned his 180bhp Rover pulled back 2 car lengths on a E92 414bhp M3 and had the capability to overtake it with ease?!

To be fair, others on there lolled at this guy too

When I read the thing about an M3 being raced, I assumed it was a VXR8 or a Monaro VXR. It was a ZS180? loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

Oh, and in the spirit of the thread, I might get the car washed today, despite the rain. I dusted the interior yesterday while queuing at a Burger King drive-through, so I may as well finish the job.

dose anyone know what power the 911 turbos are l know there a 3.6 i think but one over took me today and 2 others so i followed then we got on to the dual carrage way and we both floored it and he got bout 20 to 25 yards in front then that was it i started keeping up with him i was well amased. then he started bein silly so i backed off

Checked my nuts for tightness (ooo err) as I've done some mileage since taking the wheels off for an oil and coolant change last week.
One of the folding mirrors isn't fully 'snapping' out anymore which is annoying :(
 
I need to get out there and check the coolant on mine... just still so ill, i'm not sure i can drag myself out of bed. It's been 2 weeks and im showing little sign of improvement. Sucks to be me....

edit: Ok so I did it, dragged my ass out of bed.... coolant was certainly down a little and still slightly contaminated. Nothing like before just a small amount of oil on the surface of the water in the header tank. Got my fingers in there and cleaned out the header tank. Took the oil filler cap off and the engine note changed significantly and revs dropped, you can hear the vacuum. Ive been told that this is early signs of AOS failure approx a 5 hour job and means dropping the engine slighlty to change.

I think I will change this and the maf in feb... Matt82... remember you were saying if you ever need a hand twiddling some spanners? Well I might take you up on that buddy!
