Some shed of an E30, guaranteed. Possibly a touring.
Bingo! Though for once I dispute the use of the word "shed"
1991 E30 325i touring manual in Brilliantrot.
I phoned 15 minutes after the ad went up and arranged a viewing the next day (today) - The guy selling it is retired and has a lovely house in a nice area and two nice cars. Didn't care how much it was worth, just wanted the space it was in. I'm very lucky to have got my foot in the door pretty much immediately. His phone was ringing with enquiries even as I was with him, and he said he had turned down offers of the full asking price from people who wanted to buy without viewing cos he wanted cash and to know it was going to a good home!
It has comprehensive service history for the past 10 years including reciepts detailing that every MOT advisory has been resolved as it comes up each year, full years MOT (until 30th Jan 2018)
Condition wise there is minimal rust which is amazing really, one sill is starting to go a little bit, and there is a tiny patch by the rear towing eye and thats your lot! The paintwork is faded but will be brought back, there is a slight oil leak from the valve cover gasket (was really easy to pinpoint), and the central locking isn't working. Goes well, stops well, no weird noises, no odd vibrations sitting at 80MPH, and everything bar the central locking works perfectly.
Spec wise it is nearly the highest spec you could get an E30 touring in. M20B25 with the manual box and 3.73 LSD, electric windows front and back, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, headlight washers, roof-mounted diagnostic panel, ABS, alloy wheels, etc.
It was also conveniently placed 15 miles up the road. I still can't believe how much I got it for...
