what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Just added a shiny new pair of Grado RS-1x to the collection, so the main contenders are:

Grado RS-1x
Grado SR325x
Beyerdynamic DT1990 pro
Denon AH-D7200
Sennheiser HD650
HiFiMAN HE400i w/Dekoni sheepskin pads
AKG K702 w/bass port mod
Sony MDR-1a
and a bunch of iems

just received my first Sennheiser HD650 (or any decent headphones for that matter) and they are sounding lovely. One question , is there a driver/software I should be using aside from the windows control?

Kind of new to playing audio through PC but noticed the Peace equalizer mentioned many times. A bit confusing at first but read the Wiki and watch the YT guide. I'm using one of the included preset for my HD600 and VERY pleased with the sound.

I might give that a go - thanks :)
To be fair the sound quality at the moment from the HD650's is like something I've never experienced, they are also incredibly comfortable.
I have them connected to a Cambridge Audio DacMagic+ and it's lovely.

Just received the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, though it's going back due to a very loose right ear cup.

I did plug them in via my audio interface and although very comfortable indeed, I thought the overall sound quality,
while good for sure, wasn't as neutral or flat as my dying Audio Technica M40X's, which I prefer.

Might have a look at the Sennheiser/Shure range.

Still rocking a pair of Sennheiser 598SE's on my PC and Nova pro for consoles. Think I'm going to pick up a pair of the DT700 pro x to replace my Sennheiser's when they finally fall apart.

Been wanting a pair of wireless headphones for a while to replace my trusty HD58X Jubilee and decided to go for the Audeze Maxwell. Got them yesterday and I have to say, what a great sounding pair of cans, well impressed. Wireless freedom is bliss! A bit on the hefty side mind, but built very well.

Sennheiser 660s with ifi zen dac v2. Bought both like-new from the same guy who was WFH then suddenly not. Happy to buy the combo I wanted. But honestly I have a few FLAC files to listen to in order to justify my purchase but I mainly game so don't feel I get full use out of them. Also makes me think I don't have the 'ear' to appreciate the quality. I am declaring myself the rare "one-and-done End Game audio" buyer.

Been using dt 770 pro 80ohms for a number of years brilliant headphones, was wondering are there better sounding headphones??.

It's personal preference there's not right or wrong as we all have different hearing or taste haha

Do you have a budget?
What music do you like to listen to?
And do the have to be open back as well or closed back ok?
