I just add 4.5db bass shelf @100 Hz in roon for all my headphones, really makes the Aryas growl and surprisingly does wonders for my HD800S and Grados

There is no UK stock until end of Sept, don't think there ever was one given the UK supplier said they mislabelled non R2R stock as R2R stock and all other stores were and still are "pre order".

I'm selling the fostex th610 on the MM, really nice headphone but I prefer the aeons and have no reason to keep both.

I have no idea how good they are or are not supposed to be and I don't really know good sources for reviews. I generally just use head-fi.

However, I highly doubt they are worth the extra 150 over the momentum 4s I purchased for work.

Are there any brands of replacement earpads that are generally well regarded over others? I'm after some for Audeze Maxwell and see various ones: Wicked Cushions, actually that's about it, the others are pleather. Oh, Dekoni, and Deafen too.

I bought them used, I can cope with around 300 for a pair of headphones but when they are asking for 600+ new thats just too much for me to be able to justify.

Had the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT for a few years now.
Always been great, battery life is not amazing though.

For anyone looking at the K11 R2R, guy's channel is new in English as he's got a bigger channel in non English - The first video uploaded being of the R2r and a lot of good info in this.

I've also ordered the R2R off Ali Express as can't be bothered to wait any longer.

It's a limited run and my guess is there's plenty hobbyists with money burning a hole in their chinos.

They are probably still holding OG stock which is the batches first made in the fancy boxes not the cheap brown plain boxes. To a merchant having stock that old might not be a good thing regardless of the headphones themselves being exactly the same. A win for consumers though looking to buy and want the old style cool box.
