what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Turtle Beach Ear Force PX5. Got it for Christmas as couldn't really think of anything else and they rock.

Use them on Xbox (5.1) and PC (7.1) :D

After letting my trusty HD 650s go a week or so ago, I've spent the entire time listening to my D2000s.

I have concluded that you will not (for the money at ~£200):

-Find a comfier pair of headphones
-Find headphones better for electronica/hip hop
-Find headphones better for movies
-Have better bass in terms of quantity whilst still retaining quality (and there is a LOT of bass with these mothers)

Whilst my 650s were better all round, D2000s are better for what I use headphones for for 90% of the time.

I sooo want a set of Beyerdynamics 770's for gaming/movies. Just to justify the price of them and a mixamp :/

How are they rated the 770s, is there a better can for gaming/movies and comfort?

Personally think they look awesome too.

D2000s are better in many respects from what I've read. The DT770 Pros are clampy, but Premiums are a bit better in that respect (D2000s are much comfier still). D2000s are easily driven too.

I currently use some 2nd Hand Sennheiser PC 350s which I carried out the bass mod to. This mod was definetaly worth it as practically no bass without it! Although considering purchasing some HD 598s as saw some new for £125 which looks like a good deal considering their price elswhere! If anyone else has used these let me know what you make of them!

Been a little while without my HD 650s now. I don't miss them. My HD 580s are 95%+ of the sound for 25% of the price, and I'm giving them lots of head time since selling the 650s. HD 580s are comfier too.

Just need to find come earpads, as mine are beyond the point of re-stuffing. :( Also would like some HD 600 grills, but they're hard to find at a sensible price.

Still holding on to my Sennheiser HD 555. Very pleased with them but -

after time they have developed some cracks on the silver thing down to where the logo is, on both cups.

Will probably avoid company in future if they have not sorted it out on the newest generation.

Apparently this is common, according to the internetz.

CX300s for use with ipod when traveling, to and from work etc and 1st Gen ipod shuffle 512mb at the gym

Ive had Sennheiser HD25s, Goldring NS1000s, Goldring DR150s and Sony MDR V700s in the past. You can't get the proper fullness of sound from headphones and i'm not a DJ so my B&W 603 floor standers and NAD C352 amp combined with Xonar essence ST soundcard is by far better than any of the above.

Serial number on those T1s looks quite old, you buy them second hand or is that just what you got from the retailer?

I've been looking for second hand ones on head-fi but I think I've now resigned to buying new lol :/ Can't bothered with worrying about any possibly flaws and problems with buying from someone I don't know so new it is!

Certainly is, and there are people think they are good value at £80-£90. Some people have a bizarre idea of good value, when they used to cost £40 at one point, with the same issue.
