what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

If i were to recommend these to a bass head...

i would in some way if he doesn't like neutral but if he does than a full yeah to be recommended amongst bass head cans because the sub bass on these FSP are that good.

If you play a bass boosted song as i did i feel it would suit any basshead because the sub bass thumps knowing what it sounds like i cannot therefore translate the way i think into words.

Next visit will be the classics someday.

Wouldn't mind a laid back sound more so because these are aggressive punchy with sub bass thumps varying on track.

I use the ehp-02d and i feel it brings out more of these hps than my other amp dacs.

Treble sounds fizzy and with the sound , sounds like singers in same room as you with fizzy treble not disappointed with the purchase of this headphone i will be keeping them now i have to spend around about £200 for a pair of focal classics because i have a desire in my heart for that laid back sound.

These are like tip toeing with its feet perched over to give you a slight(?) foward sound.

Woah there horsey i still love the sound and can't get enough of these despite my comments.

I've had a few tube amps but recently went back to the Little Dot MKII because
it's smaller and has lots of great options.

I've got some Mullard CV131 on the way for an uber buttery experience. The stock tubes with the MKII are romantic and slightly breezy sounding with a slight hint of bite with good weight. It's amazing that this journey has taken me back to the HD650 + MKII lol

Well that sounds good, i am listening to focal classics and yeah sound great again.

I wouldn't over do it with the gain setting something happened to my professionals.

Nooooooooooooooo, the ******** dog has just chewed through my thinksound ts02 buds :(

I loved how mellow and non-fatiguing they were and no way I'll find a replacement at the £30 price I paid 3 years ago.

Go for it love that sweet tubey sound. There's something really therapeutic about listening to mellow music and looking at the tubes at night! Like a mini camp fire.

Oh no my tritton ax720 cans were trod on by my son and now need a new pair. What's good for someone without a sound card? Looking at kingston hyperx cloud ii at the mo.

Focal spirit classic over my other headphones because they sound smooth and great, even over how the k550 sounds great but no where near these.

Not only that but it costs quite a chunk of your wallet as i own over 10 hps but have a few favorites including the classic.

Rant over.

I think the focal spirit classic would be a great choice for someone who wants headphones at xmas :).

I mean really you have to listen to these...

can't get enough of these as well.

Easy to drive as well especially my professional with sound bar almost max and had a moderate volume listening experiance on a mp3 player.

Missus got a phone upgrade yesterday, gave me the extra that came with it... Pair of Sony MDR 1A's...
Anyone else have these and what do you think? Any tips for eq's? They seem to sound pretty fantastic with the eq set flat!

Just picked up some SoundMagic E50S to upgrade my E10.

Wowzers, I loved my E10 but the E50S have so much better midrange..

The Comply tips are nice too although they seem to get dirty quickly where they are slightly tacky?

I have a pair of Sennheiser Momentums (over ear) which were second hand for £99 but pretty much new.

They are my first set of "premium" headphones and boy are they great compared to the dross I've used before and more than that they are very comfortable.

Corsair H2100, wanted wireless mainly.

I love them, but I'm not exactly an audiophile, after middle ear problems as a kid I have the hearing of a late 50 year old.

i got these last week also. I love having wireless, getting rid of the wires with my cat was the best thing ive done, and i can still go for beer and pee and catch my spawn on dota2 :p

Are you having any issues with the tightness on your head?

Im getting pain above my ears after a few hours wear. not pain pain but uncomfortable and having to move them about. My previous headphones were pathetic so were made crap. might just take some adjustment and the corsair to soften a bit..
