what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Sennheiser HD595 here, got them for £75 brand new. Upgraded from the HD555 when they sacrificed themselves to SCIENCE!

I need to get some in ear ones for my phone as I find myself listening to high bitrate online stations a lot these days.

I can't believe how many sets of headphones some people have! Why?!

For me:

Goldring NS1000

My Fiio E5 often goes with, works very well (especially for ~£65 all in!)

Different brands and models excel with different types of music. I guess also, some people like to change between what different pairs offer in tone etc.

I suppose one thing that is handy, having lots of headphones for different moods and types of music, is far easier than having lots of speakers for a stereo. Imagine swapping speakers around all the time.

Some people just like to collect headphones too. Like other people collect watches etc.

Sennheiser HD202 here.

For the price, I wasn't expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of weight to the bass and not too lacking in the mid and top end either.

I hardly use them (which is another reason I didn't want to spend loads) but when I do, I never have any complaints. Quite compact and comfortable to boot.

I have several different headphones to suit different purposes. IEMs for work and gym. Open Street style for running. Closed circumnaural for monitoring electro-acoustic guitar. Open circumnaural for multiplayer gaming. NS1000s for anything involving Dolby Headphone...

just have the hfi780s now ,it does everything i want ie big soundstage with a closed design and an amazing sound , the layers of sound are all so seperate ! with there own timbre and texture and amazing tight controlled bass , i think my neco soundlabs dual amp helps a lot and compliments my twin dac sflo2.
would like to maybe try something else like the dt880 but at the moment its all about the music :) (although may roll the opamps on the neco next year out of interest)

Customs arrived just in time for Christmas.:D

Just cracked open the 595s, stuck a bit of Michael Buble on (Had it in the car when i was coming back up from Liverpool on about £1,000 worth of system, my god it sounded good!) and i'm absolutely in love with these already!

If people say they're only going to get better over the next 50 hours of use, then i'm in heaven :D
