what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Yeah, I've heard about that. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen! I was looking at Nobile IEMs they look really interesting. The SE535 also measure similar to the Audeze LCD-2 so they look interesting. Have you heard any of those?

Noble you mean? Yes, they are pretty ridiculous (in a good way) as long as you can afford them.
The 535s are very good but personally I'd probably go for the Dunu DN-2000J.

After the recent purchase i now have he 400i, he 500 and fidelio x1 though i think i will sell everything but the 400i.

Glad they landed safe & sound :)

So what do you think of them ?

Yes, thanks for getting them posted so quickly and packing them so well.

Although they dont sound as good as the he 500 i like them, the difference in ergonomics and weight is worth the trade off for my situation.

Yeah thats the ones, bloody auto correct haha. Those 2000J seem pretty good, they measure nicely. I'm thinking of going for something with a bit more air and uppers as the outside really brutalises the warmer SE215 and the MA750i(on a smaller scale) They sound too muted. They however sound great in doors! I'm thinking about the IE8i which seems built really well too.

Just bought some Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Plus. Needed a cheapish set for late night gaming / music as my SoundMAGIC HP200 can be heard on the other side of the house (apparently).

*edit*

Cancelled impulse purchase - probs get some DT770's instead.

I've just bought some SE535's. Sold my HD650. The Nighthawks fill in that gap and I'm sure the SE535 covers those. I'm out a lot so a good IEM makes more sense.

Will always recommend the 650 and it is IMO world class and it's better than most of the stuff out there if driven properly. The NH just have more sub bass and are less painful on the ears compared to everything.

Im got a little piggy bank and will slow save for about 2 years to see what I'd like to get. I'm hoping Audeze sorts their 2's out! Or Senn comes up with a HD650 successor with sub bass! I'd pay a lot of money for those!

you know it's only temporary, you'll end up buying another pair in a few months :D

I know what you mean though, I'm currently using my Fidue A73s which are not short in the sub-bass department and it adds a lot of impact to music that's missing otherwise.

Haha if I do it would prob be a good LCD-2. I'm going to **** the shop keeper off by cherry picking their LCD-2's.

I can't really afford another pair for a while so will slowly save and hope Audeze fixes things. I nearly bought the Fidue A83 but The 535 seem more my preference. I try to avoid Shure as they don't really care about their customers(well they never used to) The amount of build quality issues and then leaving their products like that was alarming also. It wasn't until the 1840 & 1540 they stepped of the build. So many of their products have known defects, 940 cracking, IEM line up cable problems, 840&440 cracking and they still don't fox the issue.

Are the new wireless M100s any good? Or would parrot Zik 2.0s be better or even Plantronics Bluetooth cans. I'll be using them for gaming and flac music.

I've just bought another set of LCD-2's, this time the the non fazor version got them for good price and they have had very little previous use. Thought that would be last of spending until a Woo Audio WA6-SE popped up on Headfi :(
