what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

So i own a pair of Beats that came with an old phone, nice bass but the inline mic is poor.
Sure SE425 (Hurt my ears after a while and not as good a seal with foam as i would like)
Samsung Generic (Came with the s7)

Can anyone recommend me a good pair of android/samsung friendly headphones with good isolation , and an inline mic?

Just bought a pair of Grado SR225e's from another forum member on here for only £75, chuffed to bit's with them, I've been using AKG 612's which is a nice set of cans for the money but I definitely prefer the Grado's, I just appreciate the more upfront mids SR225e's have on offer, and the more intimate sound-stage is welcome, last too pairs of AKG's I've owned have almost sounded too wide and 'airy' imo, I didn't always feel I was connecting with the music I listening to as it felt distant.

I have recently purchased Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohms paired with an Asus STX and I couldn't be happier. This is for my home setup and I mostly use them for gaming.

I am considering buying another pair for my office but I think that might be a bit boring getting the same headphones! :-)

Glad you like them. :)

Got DT990 Pro (250) and some more X2 (until I get a non glued pair). I found it hard to choose between them so thought best to have them all.

All depends on how much you're looking to spend.

My DT990's (250Ω) are such a good set of cans for the price. I hadn't used them in a while, but I fired up Arma 3 and it reminded me straight away why I bought some. My UE900's are still doing the job of IEM and noise-blockers when not on the PC, with the foam ear-tips now getting used. Very, very good indeed. :)

DT 990s neither have an in-line microphone or good isolation, nor are they remotely android friendly (mobile) as they absolutely require an amplifier.

Sony MDR-1AS (£120) ticks all your boxes

I should have made it clearer that I was talking about my own headphones after my initial response, as they weren't headphones I was recommending for their question. :)

Get another flavour for work...I found the DT 770's to grainy and trebly for my tastes...

I loved the HD 650 but for work this was a no go :(

The D2000 are great for music and games though...Its a phone I'll never get rid of...:)

Denon D600? Easy to drive, good response.
