What is the oldest game you still play & install today?

Talk of Borderlands 3 caused me to fire up BL2 at the weekend - just for a look...so down that rabbit hole again. It's so good though.

Oh man I loved Links back in the day, work OS are you using and does it run okay?

Windows 10. You can actually buy it here https://www.linkscountryclub.com/proshop, it also has extra downloads like patches for more resolutions and to make the game generally more compatible.

There is still a few leagues going around and a forum. Sure it isn't as big as the likes of Golf Club series but it's a very impressive game once you get past the dated graphics.

Will be Rome: Total War for me. At least for PC games. I think it's from the early 2000s. Great, because my 8 year old PC is still way over the top for such a game.

Elsewhere, I still play SF2 and other Street Fighter games since my brother bought me the anniversary collection.

My current oldest game that I've got installed is warcraft 1 from 1994. It brings so many childhood memories.

After that I think it might be dark colony.

Half-life (1998). When the scientist runs to the soldier for help and then gets assassinated and the music kicks in and you fight the soldiers for the first time - magic!
