What is your scariest/jumpiest game of all time

Playing Doom 3, I saw what I though was red armour clip lights glowing in the dark, walked up to it, and it was a ****ing alien.

Scared the hell outta me! I dunno if it was integral to the game or just a bit of an easter egg?!

Haha. There was a lot of controversy over that game when it came out.

Hehe yeah - I was too young to know what was going on in the world but I've just watched a documentary on YT about it. Damn Americans going overboard. :)

The antlion hive bit in hl2 e2 where the queen was chasing you was pritty intense. This didnt exactly scare me but I was certainly panicing running down the tunnels knowing it was only a few steps behind me, but I didnt have time to turn around and look.

'jumpy games' don't really do anything for or to me, but i'm currently playing stalker and damn, that has made me jump on more than one occasion. If you follow the story through, and get into the game it gets seriously eerie. It's not a case of a one off jump as something pops out, but an increasing uneasiness and apprehension which builds as you get deeper. Great game!

The first time i played tomb raider on the playstation when it first came out, there is a level called lost world or something - you walk out into this massive open valley - the music changes - then a bloody Tyrannosaurus Rex starts charging towards you - WOOHOO! did i panic.

Half Life 2 Ravenholm level, almost cacked myself.

Well, bit of a lie. I was getting scared then for some reason media player started playing popcorn which kinda ruined the atmosphere. Crazy zombie things and weird technopop don't mix lol.

Other than that the typical Resident Evil

Clive Barker's Undying!

Also, honorable mention for some moments in F.E.A.R. - the game wasn't all that, but it did the horror bitz really well.

Id definately have to say Alien vs Predator 2 playing the human marine campaign alone at 1am with headphones. I kinda bricked myself :)

also FEAR had some really good moments but AvP2 takes the cake for me to this day.
