What is your work PC like?

Laptop is a Toshiba R700 with 128gb SSD and mobile i7. Nice and light (around 1.3kg) with a 13.3" screen so great for the commute :)

Work PC is a Dell T3500 (Intel Xeon W3560, 146gb 15k SAS) with dual 24" monitors and a 60" plasma.

Dell Optiplex 960
Q9650 3Ghz
4GB RAM
ATI HD3470
1 x 19" Ultrasharp
2 x 17" Ultrasharp at either side
Windows 7 64 Bit (for exchange 2010 admin)

Could build a decent i7 rig for the price we pay for them, but not allowed custom builds

Are you ready for this...

HP DC5700

(E6300 Core duo, 2gb Ram, 160gb hdd, and I managed to get a PCI geforce 6200 to support the Samsun 2043nw we had to buy as a replacement for the original monitor)

Slow as hell, god I wish my boss wasn't a tight wad.

got 2 on my desk,

1) 1055t 6 core / 16 gb ram / ati 5550 / 1 x 300 gb raptor and 3 x 2 tb backup drives.
2) quad core amd 9350 / 4 gb ram / ati 5550 / 1 x 300 gb raptor and 2 x 2tb backup drives.

both machines are in antec 900 cases so the dust is a bit mad,

My work laptop is actually pretty decent! I'm not allowed an upgrade for another two years though :p

Dell Latitude E6510, Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz (quad core, HT), 8GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro 3400M, 500GB 7200rpm HDD (would like an SSD though!), Windows 7 Pro x64, legacy port extender (for configuring switches, firewalls, etc). This then goes into a docking station and in to a Dell U2711 via DisplayPort - I want this screen at home badly!

Dell Optiplex 745. C2D E6600, 4GB RAM and "Radeon X1300/X1550" (that's actually what it says, haven't looked inside to find out which one). Nothing too fancy, but a whole lot better than what I had at my old job. *shudders*

Just replaced my E4300 with an E4310, pretty close to top spec, i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD - does the job as my primary machine for email and on the go...makes an interesting comparison to by personal macbook pro.

T7500 as my workstation in the office, overkill but it's probably better to buy a top spec machine than waste my time writing efficient scripts to be honest, I like it enough I guess, I preferred the HP workstations but we have the sort of discount from Dell others can only fantasise about...

Oh, pair of Dell U2410s, dual screen for the workstation with the second as an extended desktop for the laptop from the docking station, works well enough though I almost wish I'd gone for U2311H's instead, the 24" panels clutter my desk up...
