What "man jobs" have you done today?

Get a wire coat hanger and straighten it out, make the end into a 'U' shape, stick it down the drain and see if you can dislodge what causing the blockage.

I presume the U bend of the toilet in the house, I done the same, but using a narrow cover strip from a length of small trunking, sometimes I need to fold over one end to give a bigger area to move the blockage..
So flexible, it just follows the contour of the bend.

Just waste nearly 2 hour stripping down temperamental petrol strimmer.
Had spark, fresh petrol mix, it would start then die, so stripped carb, nothing wrong.:(
So, I removed fuel pipe part of which is within the fuel tank to clean the filter, & what do I find a small split in the fuel pipe about 50mm from the filter.
Replaced fuel line, refilled & it started second pull.

so, I got no excuse not to strim the grass now.:(

Held the ladder while my 82 year old neighbour cleaned my front fascia and guttering (protesting just fell on deaf ears) because I'm a gutless wimp who cant abide working at heights and he is a real man who has spent his life up a ladder rather than in front of a keyboard.
Redeemed some man cred by tipping him £20 and spending 4 hours on his M reg 18k miles Toyota Corolla bringing it back to bling :)
Also washed our two cars and taught our collie how to make the most of a kids paddling pool.

Each of the eight pieces are an A3 200 gsm piece of card - it was £17 from the bay of Fleas

Im not a huge Star Wars fan myself, but quite liked the image and wanted something to cover some of that wall as its very bare without anything on :)

Well I started stripping wall paper last night and decided to take the radiators off to strip behind them as well.

First attempt at radiator one shows a rotten seal on the valve that caused the valve and pipe to bend rather than the nut turning so I straightened that one and left it and moved onto radiator 2.

Radiator 2 has a Drayton TRV (similar to picture but plastic thermostat not chrome) valve on it that I set to the off position and removed the valve to expose the metal bit underneath.

I then then pushed in and turned clockwise (same way the thermostat attached to the valve turns to turn the temperature down) which SHOULD have isolated the valve... It did not.... at which point I gave up and went to McDonalds for dinner.
