What "man jobs" have you done today?

Still going at the wet room, 320ft of batons in total and a box of packers . The walls are truly awful, just waiting for external trims for around door and window.
Have to do a dry fit first to make sure everything is bob-on, got to cut bottoms to fall with 5mm gap then fill with silicone.

Please tell me your wet room relies on more than silicone to stop any water escaping?

The whole room is water tight before a tile was laid, the silicone is just a joint that's recommend by Silkie, technically it doesn't need it the water has nowhere to go. The whole wet room is a shower base, with acrylic grout as well.

Not really a "man job", but it needed doing.

A stray cable comb snapped off one of the fan blades, so a strip down was required for the part number of said fan.
Fan has now been ordered, and I'll get some better thermal pads/paste for when I have to pull the thing apart again to fit the new fan (i used some Artic MX-4 and kept the same pads to keep it functional).

Just fixed the washing machine door. The door catch had come loose, so it wouldn't close.

The pin in the locking mechanism had worked loose, so just took the door apart and re-seated it. Quite fiddly and frustrating, but got it all back together.

It was cheaper and quicker than trying to go through the guarantee.

Had great fun fitting 2 new outside lights today and yesterday (I'm truth only about an hour each day). Made an effort to get the outside bits done yesterday morning as the weather was good, glad I did now lol :p.

I fitted a new bathroom light fixture. I found the old one had been arching or overheating as there were some burn marks on the housing. The terminals looked fine so maybe someone put a bulb in that was too powerful at some point. Anyway it's been replaced now.

I also unblocked the bath plug which I did with my new wet/dry vac. Very effective way of doing it.

I then spent most of the weekend insulating, installing legs and boards in the loft. Not much fun but i'm happy with the result. i've done about 1/3 of the available area but the next section has some pipes in the way which I may see if I can get moved to make things easier.

Plumbed in our new washing machine. I've never bought a new machine before, the one we've replaced came with the house and was about 10 years old.

It was quite handy having a built in spirit level so I could adjust the feet.

I wouldn’t take too much stock in the built in spirit level. For ours to be level by it’s built in level, the whole machine is on a near 5 degree angle left to right.
