Girls were not allowed into our club and I was going to mention my mate with one leg, but guess someone would be along soon to inform us that they......

She kept hearing these tick sounds on the wall and went to the backdoor step to investigate. Turns out a couple of young men were having target practice on a tree that backed onto our house(rented property)said they didn't know they were missing the target according to the one police women they sent out in response. She told the wife that they would apologise, they didn't so had a word with the landlord and he moved everyone out and moved in himself. If I had gone out instead I may have been hit in the eye being a bit taller than my wife.

We were sensible (YEAH) and only used hand guns in area's people would not generally go and were brought up with guns, hunting and a respect for others.

They didn't have anything at the back of the target. The wife phoned me at work saying she'd been shot so I said phone the police and all they were interested in was her going to the hospital and not coming out until she had been seen.I phoned them and got the same response, luckily all she had was a bad headache and flesh wound.

The boy's hoverboard stopped taking a charge and threw all sorts of errors. Replaced the battery, repaired a cable, hot-snotted some loose LEDs and calibrated the board and all sorted.

Just don't ask me to get on the confounded thing!

That is a nice therapeutic job - you will feel so much better after.

I have been trying to stay alive over last few day's - The lad who fixed my cameras had a bad cough - I asked if I need mask and he said no I have had all the tests.
two days later I had sore throat and cough - I have to say it's probably been the worst one I have ever had. Did a covid test-OK -BP is fine -temp is 36c I think now I am lacking food as didn't want to swallow - when your throat is raw and half size you don't want to eat much -Almost asked wife to go out and buy some rusks if they still do them.

Attic cleared, also removed some old carpets from the previous owner - all down the tip.
Glad it is done, been putting it off for ages.

I've got to get some boards up into the loft, take out some redundant roof spars, board out and then get the Xmas stuff back up in there. Not looking forward to it.

Spent yesterday clearing the bedroom and dismantle the old bed, then building the new bed that was delivered.

Spent today on the dump run, then had to dismantle and reassemble the bed again as it’s longer than the old one so was not enough walk room past the end so now rearranged the room.

This has now meant new pax wardrobe, draws, side table and desk ordered to collect due to layout change so yet more dismantling and building to come tomorrow.

Ha, I put serious thought into removing skirting boards or if I “really” needed the wall the leads to the stairs!

I knew the bed was going to be tight but we convinced ourselves it’d be ok. It was not, but at least the bed is super comfortable and we now have the chavey tv bed.
