What "man jobs" have you done today?

Are you going to make a project log (cabin)? What's the planned use? Would love on of these as a mancave, but i have no room in my garden for anything bigger than a 8x10 shed :(

No project log - too busy doing man stuff :D.

14x10 (so not massive), double glazing, guttering, shingles.

I'm rennovating a large house, had to pull down old sheds (knackered) and need to get all of my tools out the house so I can finish off.

So sadly, initially it will be full of boxes until I build a proper garage on the other side of the plot to house my office, car and tools.

Onwards and upwards...

- Repainted bathroom walls.
- Removed old tiles for thermostat cable.
- Hot glued DeviCOMFORT underfloor heating to existing bathroom floor.
- Removed toilet.
- Poured self-levelling scree onto cabling.
- Left to dry and re-added toilet.
- Laid out slate tiles, cut to size, removed tiles and added tile mortar.
- Put down all tiles, and grouted.
- Treated tiles with 'deep impregnation' product.
- Enjoyed some home-made beer & pizza.

Looks 1000x better in my eyes and hopefully the heating keeps the chill off the floor!

Just saw that and thought, i wouldn't have ******* bothered! :D

We purchased a house and completed on Wednesday. Since then:

I have painted every room in the house apart from en suite ( I am ripping that out )
All woodwork glossed, doors and skirts.
Stripped down the decking paint ready for some new colour.

Built some slatted shelves into an alcove in the bedroom to store bedding and towels on.

First thing I've made using my new compound mitre saw and wow, what a difference it makes to DIY projects.

Was back in October I started the shed. Been a bit of a slack **** since though. This weekend was fixing and finishing the doors, windows etc... Then, at moved on to sheeting up the interior. Only got half of it done though by the end of the weekend.

Mounted the TV on the wall to stop it from falling on my children.
Put a plinth around the bottom of the TV unit (I raised it so I could fit modem/router, switch, cables and plugs underneath).
Mounted a chalkboard on a wall.

But my to-do list is still endless.
