What PC games are you playing?

Back playing new world for a while but stopped once i got my gear to the required level for the new upcoming brimstone sands update, its literally an expansion but the game is dramatically better than it was on release.
Same story for BF 2042 vastly vastly better game now a year on.
Also playing some WW3 great game once you get to play, their server infrastructure always was its biggest issue.

Quit playing new world last month done majority of the mutations waiting on fresh start servers now

Back to playing satisfactory and a bit of ksp

Been playing Episode one of Cultic and loving it so far. Horror FPS in a 90s style ala duke nukem/shadow warrior etc. Might have the most satisfying headshots in any fps. Supposed to be 3-5 hours not bad for £8.99.

Disdain demo on Steam.

Takes inspiration from Quake and Doom, and also reminds me very slightly of other shooters from that period.

It's an early version but runs very well, to be expected, I guess since it runs on the GZDoom engine.

nice little tower defense game on offer
(f11 for windowed mode)

I've got a few weeks off work and fancy playing something new. What would you recommend from this list, or what would you add...?
Elden Ring, Spiderman, Uncharted probably in that order. And if you've not already played it, considered it maybe take a look at Horizon Zero Dawn. Fair warning about Elden Ring, the game is brilliant, and I absolutely loved it and consider it to be one of my favourite games to date, but the combat is brutal.

Also, Baldur's Gate 3 is still in early access / development, so just be aware you're not getting the finished product yet. Elden Ring and Spider-man alone should keep you entertained for a few weeks.

I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 and enjoying it, but it's quite a long game and I like to switch between at least 2. I think if I go with Elden Ring then I'll just keep going back to PS5 so it's looking like Spider-Man.

On a loosely related point, I wish Steam would join the subscription model as it always feels like a big decision when the game is £40+

I was playing BFV but ive given up, every single game has multiple rank 500 cheaters going 80-5 and so on, very tiresome.

Thoroughly enjoying Prodeus, it's just oodles of gore and fun, even though I previous to this was not really an arena shooter fan and have not been since the Quake 3/UT 2001 days. Even Doom Eternal I am playing slowly and infrequently but Prodeus has a level of pacing and speed needed that I can just gel with and its mouse movement is so precise it just feels natural. Even though it also has retro blocky graphics, the presentation and SFX are awesome.

Sticky grenades too, they're brilliant hah.

Been playing Assassins Creed Odyssey but getting a bit bored around level 24

Everywhere kinda looks the same too which doesn't help much
Thinking of giving Dying Light 2 a go today, any opinions as I've noticed on Steam it's getting a kick-in in negative reviews al of a sudden?
I was thinking of buying it but no guns and graphics look pretty bad.
everyone says how boring the story is too.
