What PC games are you playing?

Late to the party but Valheim, took a £1 gamepass sub but after an hour of playing, bought it via steam as knew i'd put silly hours into it. Textbook example of graphics not being overly important to the gaming experience. Me and a friend have split a rental on a server too so we don't have to rely on each other being on to play the others world.

Game is brilliant me and the missis spent a silly amount of time playing this

Cold Waters - a Cold War era sub sim. Using the Dot Mod as it adds surface ships.

Current annoyances playing as a Los Angeles class SSN are super quiet Soviet diesel electric submarines which you often need to use active sonar to detect and the moment you do that, you find there’s 4 of them and they all just launched torpedoes at you.

Kenshi - The graphics as many say, are a bit ropey, switched off an FXAA filter that makes everything blurred and its a little clearer.

Plumped for a female human character as the others are bloody ugly. Spent an hour exploring the first town, time goes quick doing nothing but wandering around! I did buy some food and now brassic; disappointed with the scavenging, ended up with 5-6 empty jugs! Still too chicken to venture out into the wilderness.. :D

Getting back into Hell Let Loose and tanking

Also Prodeus. It's Doom 3 if it was made with the visual style of the originals and the gameplay of Doom 2016. Very much recommended if you're after an old school shooter.

Just finished Batman Arkham Asylum, pretty good game and graphics still hold up, need to install Arkham City now to see where the story goes
Story almost as good, for me though, Asylum was peak and the gameplay deteriorates with each game. Open world actually hinders this series in my opinion, I like the tightness of Asylum much more.

One of my favourite third person games. I'm playing spiderman remastered currently and it doesn't offer much new so far. Not great when you consider the release dates. The option of stealth takedown just doesn't work with spiderman so straight away it feels more limited in combat.

I thought Arkham Knight was awesome
Will be honest, after finding City a bit tedious then the lackluster Origins (aware it's a different team), then the **** show launch for Knight on PC (refunded), I never revisited it - I think I did pick it up for free off Epic so perhaps time to revisit. I've heard the batmobile sections are extremely annoying though?

I like those sections so maybe they're a bit Marmite.

It was a terrible performer on release but now that it's patched and hardware has advanced it runs brilliantly.

Right now, Gran Turismo 7, and Aliens Fireteam Elite on my PC.

Also, some Destiny 2 from time to time when I feel like it.
If you're looking for someone to team up with on Aliens Fireteam, message me!

I've just finished grinding out all the levels, weapons and attachments - planning on picking up the Pathogen DLC next week.
