What PC games are you playing?

Just finished Elden ring since purchasing in March. Amazing game, quite sad its over. I will play it again some day.

What to play now? I want to buy Dying light 2 but its too expensive still. Probably going to be Horizon zero dawn or the last Dues ex which ive still not played yet.

Can highly recommend HZD a great change of pace from Elden Ring.

Borderlands 3. Spent the lockdowns just collecting shift codes and not playing the game, so its nice to get started with some awesome loot off the bat. Around 8 hours in now.

Also Prodeus. It's Doom 3 if it was made with the visual style of the originals and the gameplay of Doom 2016. Very much recommended if you're after an old school shooter.
Wow just checked this out and it is fantastic. Old skool vibes with new skool cinematic audio and visuals. Really love how fast paced it can be and I have zero issues fast pacing my round this with an MX Master 3 which many on forums and reddit said was categorically "NOT" a gaming mouse, but here we are.... I've got the game locked to 135fps (144Hz display) with Gsync so I think this massively helps with response and screen render latency. GFE is showing that the render latency is sub 5ms so it's definitely a superb fast paced gaming experience and leads me to wonder if I would enjoy Doom Eternal too as I skipped that thinking it would be too fast paced for my liking and I don't fancy having a gaming mouse just for stuff like that - No longer an issue knowing the MX3 can cope!

So currently Days Gone and Prodeus are taking up my gaming time until December when Callisto is out :D

Back playing new world for a while but stopped once i got my gear to the required level for the new upcoming brimstone sands update, its literally an expansion but the game is dramatically better than it was on release.
Same story for BF 2042 vastly vastly better game now a year on.
Also playing some WW3 great game once you get to play, their server infrastructure always was its biggest issue.

Currently playing Crystal Project. Fantastic RPG with turn based combat and a huge map with exploration at it's core. It's a cross between Zelda and 3D Dot heroes. Totally addicted to it and would recommend this to anyone who likes old school RPG's.

Just finished the main story of Control. May go back and do the remaining quests at some point.

Tried Terminator Resistance. Feels a bit low rent to be fair. Not sure I'll stick with it.

Titanfall 2 - really like this. Guns have quite a satisfying feel/sound to them.

No Mans Sky - have tried getting into this before and kind of get a bit stuck/bored but giving it one more try.

Deathloop - just started this. Like the characters and has that Arkane vibe which works well in Prey and Dishonoured.

Got Doom Eternal for just over £12 now too and gave it a quick go. Surprisingly it runs at +150fps with RT on and all settings on Ultra Nightmare - DLSS is off!

I think in videos the game looks fantastic but in actual person you can tell it's using flatter textures up close, the typical id Software style of Doom texturing - It's fine though. It's not as fast paced as I thought it was, your run speed for example is slower than in Prodeus, but the enemies in Eternal are more brutal for sure.

Two similar games but both approaching this style of FPS differently which is kinda cool.

The menu system in both games is implemented excellently too, love the performance stats, more games need this feature.

I was a bit lost for something to play, and installed Prodeus on GP purely on the strength of those videos. And it's just the old skool FPS blast I was hoping it would be. :D

I'm now a bit lost on what game to play first, 34 hours into Days Gone so I should finish that first I guess then jump back into Prodeus lol. It is a great way to end the day after work that's for sure.

Late to the party but Valheim, took a £1 gamepass sub but after an hour of playing, bought it via steam as knew i'd put silly hours into it. Textbook example of graphics not being overly important to the gaming experience. Me and a friend have split a rental on a server too so we don't have to rely on each other being on to play the others world.
I've got over 1000 hrs played on this, mostly with my wife. It really shines when playing with others. Amazing experience at first, but the game desperately needs more content for me to pick it up again. Having said that we've had more fun with this game for £15 than many games costing a lot more so I'm more than happy with the purchase and would rate it highly. I'm sure you'll have a blast exploring and building :)

I have started ESO, again... Got as far as the thieves guild last time and ended up coming off. Back now though as a Necromancer which seems quite fun.

Alongside my spurts on BF1/2042 and Chivalry II

FIFA 23 (Career Mode). Not massively different from previous FIFA's but does play a bit better.

Insurgency Sandstorm (Coop). Haven't played it in so long, but had a laugh trying to the checkpoint mode with a couple of friends. The ai is brutal which is good.
